    Moving rooted cuttings into greenhouse

In direct sun? Or under some type of shade cloth? I’m worried that thanking them from t5 to direct sunlight will fry them. Maybe a few minutes at a time at first? I’m usually an indoor guy, so I know I can’t take cuttings from t5s and then immediately throw them under 1000 and the sun is more...

    Anyone used in a greenhouse?

Doing a bit more research, appears full sun is 108,000 lux or 2000 umol. Indoor I’m shooting for 750-900 umol. Am I missing something, or does this simply mean I’ll have a ton of light? Forgive the ignorance, first foray into greenhouse stuff.

    Help with seedlings

Just a thought, if you’re concerned about root development, try switching from t5 (I assume you’re using) to t8. Reduce your light to 20 hours. It’s a similar protocol I use for cuttings to encourage root development. Also, what nutrient profile are you using?

    Help with seedlings

I’m a big believer in the KISS method .. keep it simple... if you’re germinating for soil production the rockwool is not only redundant, it complicates things. Throw it away. If you need further advice on germination protocols, please reach out and I’d be more than happy to share my protocols...

    Anyone used in a greenhouse?

Great idea, appreciate the feedback. Any idea on PAR/umol for sunlight? I’m sure it depends on region (possibly) but it’s my first transition from indoor so not sure what to expect.

    Anyone used in a greenhouse?

Thanks much! Unfortunately not an option to move in and out. My greenhouse has black out curtains, but even if I black out a portion, based on the movement of the sun there will be times the plants are under direct light. I’m thinking of integrating shade cloth into my SCROG framework directly...

    Help with seedlings

Just curious, is there a particular reason you chose to germinate in rockwool, and then into soil vs germination in paper towel method and then transplant direct to soil when your root is about 3/4 inch long? There’s a ph discrepancy between the two mediums, and I’m wondering if this is...

    Anyone used in a greenhouse?

I’m particularly interested in your experience with hardening off indoor clones from under t5 in aeroponic cloner, to transplanting into RDWC under sunlight. Any advice or previous experience would be appreciated.
