When I cure salmon I use a salt process. I am wondering if I could just bury my bud in salt for a few days to dry them. Thoughts?

So Lowe’s and homedepot didn’t have bt, so . I ought and used capt jacks dead bug dust.... cap came off , dump out and now my plant looks like it was in a snow storm. Should I rinse it? I tried shaking it off but it’s stuck to the resins. Help please... feel free to make fun of me😁
