Yeah interesting method mate! 👍 I used to DTW but now I catch everything and let em drink it over the next 48hours. Can feed a lot less over a grow!

If you squeeze the pots sides are they rock solid. Sometimes over watered soil can become very compact which will also slow root growth. If they are give em a tap and squeeze to open it up and decompact the soil it will help root growth and the soil to dry faster!

Does the soil have coco in it?

This is the problem with small plants in big pots of soil! Over water them once and they take weeks to recover! I did it myself years ago when I started! I would suggest next run start with 1lt pots then to 4lt then to final pots! Can you making hotter in there that will help them dry quicker.

Yeah mate unfortunately that's forums for ya! I always say before you take advice off anyone on a forum take a look through their grow threads and pics. If people want to take advice of people who have nothing to show that's up to them but personally I wouldn't.

Wow you must of been watering a shit load!! If you're deadset on a moisture meter I'd get a blue lab one. Has a pH tester on it too!! Expensive but very good!

Your running 25w per sq foot so its definatley adequate and a long way from doing any damage to ya plants! If you drop to 70% power it's going to be about 17w per sq foot so definitely not enough to flower properly!

The old average was 30w per sq foot running at 100% Newer lights like yours are more efficient so you can go a bit less. Mine works out at about 26w per sq foot with HLG Rspec lights!

At this early stage of flower they still need N. Yeah I've seen a lot of burnt plants from fox farm as it's very hot. I'd stick with the 6N at 3/4 strength till about week 5 then drop back to the 2N for the last few weeks! No one can tell you exactly how much you need your going to have to go...

Get a blue lab soil moisture meter it's about the only one that's worth the money! Like others have said lifting the pot is the best way to gauge how much moisture is inside!!

So if you have had over watering problems in the past and this is your first soil grow what were you over watering before??
