After about 7 grows apparently I’ve been letting coco dry out too much 🙂 thanks to the ones that commented. Watering more frequently with more runoff works amazing with coco/perlite in airpots. (Yes recent tip burn on purpose wanted to push them mid flower and pulling back now)
Day 36 from...
Thanks it did seem like watering every other day was allowing the pots to dry too much I’ll post a picture before harvest just a follow up on how they turned out. My last grow for a few years it’s sad lol thanks!
I always water with 10% run off maybe more runoff removes more build up I will try that next. This first flush plain phd water I got 30% runoff still at 3.5ec. This is my last grow for a few years don’t want to mess up my last one. I know different strains take nutrients differently only one...
But if I’ve already been using the coco for months watering after watering wouldn’t that be the same as buffering it? I’ve been using Mother Earth 70:30 and fox farm 70:30. No problem for 4 months I can’t buffer now too late. I’ve always had this problem mid to end flowering can’t figure out why lol
Nope I’ve never buffered coco before. About 4 months old plants transplanted 3 times both plants were in final 5gallon airpots for 2 weeks before flipping to flower perfectly fine until few days ago. Never buffered and always supplement decent Ca and Mg been giving low nitrogen during stretch...
I’ve been giving 2.1ec then been lowering to 1.5ec then 1ec after that I flushed and will flush again till I get runoff Ec down. I water once every other day with about 10% runoff considering 20-30% runoff from now on.
3 weeks in flower and want to fix this small problem before it gets worse. Consistent 6.0-6.2 ph in coco coir in and runoff. But run off comes out to 4ec- 5ec (3500 ppm @ 700 scale) yes really high. Flushed once and will flush again but Is this problem simply over fed problem or specific...
Here’s the deal with this girl… she looked like this when I first put her under the strong led… I was going to toss her I ended up keeping her and leaving her as a side chick under cheap leds she got much better and bigger, as soon as I put her under the strong lights again (as a much bigger...
10 gallon air pot coco coir, perlite, worm castings. She was doing fine with cheap leds until I switched her to the big led. but she looks healthy apart from the look of the loss of chlorophyll pigmentation. She’s huge doing better than any other plant at 5000 ppm, I’ve never gone so strong but...
Any recommendations on proper equipment to check trichomes? I’m also confused on where exactly to look at. On the buds themselves or the small leaves sticking out of them?
