If it is the top growth I would lower the output a bit. I have a similar problem and it's looking like too much light is the cause.

I'm beginning to think the same, can't raise light unfortunately, rack setup. I'm gonna take off the light, I have enough without it but added it in because my normal lights are out of stock. Thanks for the response.

Hmm, I'll keep that in mind. I typically run my plants on the dry side so not sure how I could have overwatered, but I won't rule out that possibility. I've stopped running the Cheapo LED for the past 24HR and new growth is looking better. As long as it isn't a bug issue I'm happy.

Are you using a new light or have you upped the power output on ur current one? Have the plants recently grown close to your light?

Bumpy in the affected area, otherwise normal, no crumbling or anything like that.

I applied spinosad after I noticed the issue so sadly that's not it :( Edit: I went just under suggested dose.

if youre using fabric pots they are probably fine, they dont get nearly as hot as black plastic. if they are plastic you can just spray paint them

Similar problem with me as well. Only a few of my plants. Never seen it before.

Noticed a pretty weird thing going on. Top growth seems pretty unhappy on 7 of my girls. I'm thinking it's a bit of windburn tied with some light stress.
