Noobstar’s first grow. An organic outdoor grow.

Just a little update. Plants are growing great. Some minor pest damage on some leaves but it just seems unavoidable being outdoors in my location.and of course a picture of the autoflower: Any guesses on how much longer for this auto would be cool!

    Mother Nature is against me.

The past week and a half has had like 2 sunny days and now this: I think I need to sacrifice a goat to the sky gods, or something. Between this and my “landlord” constantly making me move my 15 gal potted plants to more shady spots in the yard, it’s really been draining my motivation.😥

Powdery mildew help I’m worried and sad?!

I’m no expert my self, so I’m not too sure about the temp and humidity stuff, you will have to wait for someone more experienced with that to chime in. but my plants being outdoors sometimes have some of the soil contents blown onto the leaves. Maybe your fans blew some perlite around. Not...

Powdery mildew help I’m worried and sad?!

Do you spray your leaves with anything? If so don’t do it when your light is on. Little water droplets will act as a magnifying glass and burn holes through the leaves. Other than that a product like this shouldn’t hurt the leaves.

Noobstar’s first grow. An organic outdoor grow.

So today it finally stopped raining after 4-5 days of on/off rain. Some leaves took a beating, because of a giant oak tree that hangs above allowing droplets to gain size and weight pounding on my (hopefully) ladies. Luckily having the branches cut down from it in 4 days since it drops acorns...

A little help for 1st timer.

I think it’s kinda easy to overwater them when they are that small and you have them in large pots for their size! Not trying to brag, but this is what my random bag seed autoflower looked like after a month and a half

    Getting a tad bit worried.

I think you are right on them being hungry and after reading tobh’s reply I’m thinking It’s most likely some bugs interrupting the roots ability to bring in nutrients? I feel my soil should still be able to feed them quite well without nutes yet(even though I have done some top dressing) I will...

    Getting a tad bit worried.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried treating the topsoil with DE, and I have used neem oil for the leaves but I have yet to treat the roots for anything. I will try the mosquito dunks.

What do we have here? Bug pics

Purchased some DE today and put a nice layer on the photoperiods’ soil and a bit of a dusting on the leaves. I didn’t do the autoflower because, well…you know. The auto doesn’t seem to be attracting the bugs anyways… strange.
