Don't think you need to boil it. That might destroy good minerals

Let tap water sit for an hour or so after putting in a container. The Chlorine will then evaporate and not hurt your plant

Why the 24Hrs. of darkness before flip?

I had to laugh when you said Fungus Gnats because every time I look at mine, I think I see one flying around and then realize it's just the eye floater I have in my right eye. The floater is small and moves with my right eye movement. Annoying as hell

I've watered 4 times in about 2 weeks each time widening the circle of water and more each time. I think next water will be just plain water and cover all the area. My plan was to now start giving feeding every other watering. My FF grow big mix is about 50% as much as they recommend right now.
