It looks to me like they're growing out of it. Seedlings sometimes come up looking freakish, then a couple more nodes grow and the leaves seem to be fine.

It sounds like you're at about the lowest humidity you'll be able to get this summer. Do you have any untopped plants? You might consider doing some topping to reduce the size of buds. Bud size seems to be a contributing factor for bud rot -- smaller ones are less likely to get it.

How old is that plant? It looks like the upper leaves are not expanding, which could be from humidity being too low or a root problem.

What are you trying to achieve by topping? Topping does 2 main things: keeps height in check (but not for all strains). reduces the average size of buds. Are your plants too tall? Do you have bud rot issues with large-cola plants?

Looks good so far. This may not be popular, because it's slightly more work, but I would not transplant a tiny seedling into a 5 gallon container. I would first transplant into a 1 gallon, then maybe 2.5, then 5.
