Yeah I had to cut silica out as soon as I stopped manually watering unfortunately. Silica really seemed to make a ridiculous difference in the thickness of the stems; whilst I was using it my seedling went from skinny matter to tree-like, really quickly. Hoping to find a foliar spray version...
