That's more than enough to confuse your girls. It doesn't take much. Remember this plant evolved long before artificial lighting.

This was my golden girl this year. She got a bit of a photo sesch before the snip. The scaffolding, shade cloth and plastic canopy made sure she was budrot free.

Unless you are trying to produce year round, I would skip the greenhouse. Its an additional fragile maintenance item that has a huge energy cost. That's why I use a clear plastic canopy starting the last week of August. It gives the dew/rain protection of a greenhouse but doesn't require energy...

Let her ride through the cooler temps. It will help bring on her color and cooler temps signal to the plant that winter is coming, better get those buds mature.

They probably should have. How close are the nearest yard lights/lit windows/street lights/light source. That sounds suspiciously like your plants are suffering from light pollution. Its very common and probably the best reason to grow autos.

Why not just go ahead and get one of those hanging baskets with planting holes on the side?

Get your air moving! Even though you're facing high humidity you can still lower the odds of fungus with rapid air exchange. Introduce a dehumidifier to your lung room and capture that h2o for later use. SE Va doesn't always have the best water.

Lemon Pupil (super lemon haze version by Mass Medical) another week or 10 days. The canopies have been great at keeping dew out of the buds. SLH is supposed to be very rot resistant.

Street Fight has a week, maybe 10 more days. She is struggling against the weight of her buds. Smells like Ajax scouring powder.

Mine is eaten up with septoria. I'm glad yours is doing well. All in all my Humboldt Seed Co selections kind of bombed this year. Other breeders regardless of the ban.

Lemon Pupil (Super Lemon Haze) is getting some purple showing up. Last night and tonight temps in the 40s. This will be the best fall color we've had here in some time.

Here is Street Fight with a helper. She has dense gooey buds. I'm glad for the support I've built for my girls this year. It may not be the most elegant but it's keeping the precious plants from drama.

Me too. My garden is in a clearing with a grove of blackwalnut trees trying to filter out the morning sun. The squirrels like my lose garden soil to burry walnuts and raid my strawberry bed. I have live traps. My weed trees feed on squirrel. Waste not!
