People who have erradicated the dreaded spider mite for good please help.

So now I may or may not have a new problem on my hands. In the past 2 weeks I have applied Floramite to the lone survivor, Chemdog '91, twice; once a full dunk, and the other a complete spray down. A few days have gone by since the spray down and I now have light colored spots on a few of the...

People who have erradicated the dreaded spider mite for good please help.

Update So I decided after a month since my first Azamax treatment to go the xX Kid Twist Xx route and dispose of all the plants; but one,..Chemdog '91. I made this painstaking decision for a few different reasons. First and foremost, I didn't want to risk bringing the infestation into the...

thumpnasty: I am hearing that more and more. I may give that a shot here real soon! .. After using Floramite and Forbid, in veg, do I have to wash off a month later? Could I use the products and then the next day switch to flowering cycle? Or do I have to wait for a period of time.

Beasters X Haze: Thanks! Will be trying the Avid if the Azamax treatment doesn't do the job properly. I ordered that with Forbid and Floramite as well. Jalisco Kid: Would you mind being a little more clearer on just knocking them down.? As in 'just off the plant'? I haven't used Azatrol, but I...

peter tosh: Thanks for your input. I will be checking out your thread for feedback. .. I picked up a few products to help with the cleaning and sterilizing. Bleach, Bio Green Clean, h2o2(35% i think), and white vinegar. I will probably being use a combination of these products in multiple stages...

People who have erradicated the dreaded spider mite for good please help.

Ok so today was the second application of Azamax. Instead of drenching and spraying, I dipped and drenched, completely submerging all the leaves for an average of 10 seconds each. I also uped the dose from 5mL per gallon to 7mL. It has been 7 days between applications. Will check with a...

    Las Vegas Collectives

THC got what they asked for. They were way over priced, rude, and did not view it as 'medicine'. The few times I visited I seen patients directly handling the buds with their own hands, and placing them back in jars while looking for something else. They did not use gloves or tongs, and neither...

    Leaves turning reddish brown???

Calcium is semi-mobile. Magnesium is mobile. Manganese is not mobile (I personally would not consider this one, but that's just me. Mn deficiency is rare). Unless the damage is slight, leaves will not recover from deficiencies.

Side note: I am assuming the infestation is in it's earliest stages. This is because upon visual inspection, with 30x microsope and without, I don't see the common yellow-brown colored (look white too me) dots on leaves or webbing. I did however see intense spotting on the original infected...

    Leaves turning reddish brown???

What type of water are you using? For example: tap, distilled/RO, etc.. The reason I ask is because I use watermill express water and used to have a similar deficiency. Like Element4NorCal says, it's either an Iron (Fe) or Magnesium (Mg) deficiency. Fe affects the new growth but not the lower...

Update So this is what I have done since my first Azamax spraying and soil drenching, 4 days ago. Removed original infected plants out of the garden permanently. Dropped central a/c down to 65 degrees. Then I lifted lights up away from canopy to drop canopy temps. I also added a humidifier to...

yellow seedlings almost 3 weeks old

Young seedlings are able to handle light nutrients by week 3, some strains in week 2, but 4 at the very latest, in plugs anyhow. Start off with a 1/4 strength and then increase gradually. And like dextr0 says, don't let the plugs dry out. I made that mistake one too many times.

Hello wtjames! I realize you said you needed a pros opinion, and I am definately not a pro, but I may be able to steer you in the right direction. I have a book I refer to quite often when my plants have problems. The name of it is Marijuana Garden Saver. From your pictures and brief details...

croniholic: Your isolation chamber sounds awesome! I have a GrowLab 80 that will be used for that same purpose next time around. Right now it has one chem dog '91 clone that I am hoping to salvage. It was not part of the infected clones batch, but still became infected while sitting next to the...

People who have erradicated the dreaded spider mite for good please help.

That's right, I am now an unfortunate member of the 'I got spider mites' club. Without a doubt, I am 100% sure they hitched a ride on a six pack of what was supposed to be chem dog clones. Since I have always grown from seed, or my own clones, and have taken proper care of my grow areas, I did...
