    custom soiless mix in greenhouse

On that scale, feeding with liquid nutes is going to be very expensive and labor intensive. It seems like you're approaching this as though it was an indoor grow and just scaling up, which is a big mistake, IMO. Outdoor is a different animal altogether. The way you do big plants outside is...

    help on my green roof

Listen to Cheech. What you want is two layers of clear poly sheeting rigged up with an inflation fan or three. It's waaay cheaper, the insulation provided is superior, and it'll last almost as long as the panels if you're careful. Enjoy

    Black Rose

Lookin great Lollipopman! All Heath's creations are fantastic, IMO. And he's been generous to spread them far and wide, never once charging a cent. As some might be interested in the lineage... Black Rose = Black Russian X Purple Shiva Skunk. AFAIK, the coloration will vary pheno to...

    Pure alien and other rarities

Here's the often copy-pasted description: "alien technology is a strain that came from a small village in Afghanistan via a USA solider, its a pure landrace strain and super frosty like “the white”, is a land race afghan line, don’t have a region or village name to go with it, it was a...

Extremely well. Many seasoned growers are switching Check out the thread that I mentioned in my above post if you want more info. Here's the link, but without being familiar with this site's policy on external links (particularly links to competing sites), I can't say how long it'll stay...

1k HPS BULB, (most bang for buck?)

Ushio bulbs are considered by many to be the most reliable with digital ballasts FWIW.

Plant count numbers, multiple medical patients per house

They could be the same thing, but IMO most dispensaries aren't real collectives and are instead co-ops. Collectives are not privately owned, they are owned and worked by ALL members of the group (collective) and no single member owns the product produced. Nothing is bought from anyone, as...

    Minimal Maintenance/Automated Growroom

These are what you need: http://www.blumat.at/automatic-watering-system.php#bltropf, specifically the ones for balcony, patio, potted, or greenhouse plants. Tropf Blumats are gravity fed drippers attached to ceramic sensors that measure the moisture level of each pot and slowly modulate the...

Can hermaphrodites pollenate my veg plants??

What bastard is saying is that only the preflowers are vulnerable to pollination during vegetative growth. Any pistil (hair) that comes into contact with pollen has the potential to set off the seed production chain reaction in its respective calyx. It would be best to inspect your plants'...

    Cheech's magical forest

Lovely garden Cheech! I wish I could plant in-ground like that, but alas, I have gophers, so it's smart pots para mi! BAHHH! Two questions... How far away were you able to smell those lovely ladies? What anti-ripper precautions (other than the Dakota Alert) did you take? Cheers

    Santa cruz outdoor

It's $1200-2400 in the Bay Area. Average price is definitely below 2k, but something excellent can command more. A+ greenhouse grown goes for 24-28. Really depends on the bulk in which it's being purchased, and how desperate the grower/broker is to get rid of it.

    hydroponics outdoors?

I've seen RDWC done in a greenhouse. The grower insulated the hell out of everything and added frozen water bottles daily. He also coated the buckets in Reflectix. Aquaponics would be another idea to consider. There is a lot of build information available via a simple google search.

    House and Garden Questions

I don't have experience with the normal H&G line, but I have used the coco line. Everything people have said is right on. A weekly res change/cleaning is a good idea, but you can get away with longer increments, IME. Topping off the nutes is trickier than just re-filling and mixing a new...

    Pics or Info about HP13?

As far as I know, yes. But I haven't grown it or seen plants in person, only flowers. However I have seen pictures taken by a friend in Hawaii, and it looks sativa-ish. According to him (and he's pretty plugged in to the scene there) it's a cross of Thai x Afghani. There's no G13 in HP...
