What's the ideal air temperature around exposed roots in a DWC tank?

64° And this ain’t even my best hand I’ve got way better systems then this Oh btw no airstones or air pumps that’s a myth too. Same thing with all these organic additives the only bb I ever use is hydroguard. No poolshock, no bleach no none of that shit.

    HELP PLEASE!! INDOOR RDWC ADVICE

you don’t have to clean during the grow and hydroguard / southern ag is the only organics / bacteria i I only need to top my system off maybe once a week when it’s heavy feeding.

Chiller reservoir, Nutrients reservoir, Wort coil

I also have a 1/10 hp chiller that can chill an 80gal system through a wort coil as well. Temp is about 3-4° from the chilled water Rez temp always.

Chiller reservoir, Nutrients reservoir, Wort coil

I can chill a 100 gallons of actual water rdwc with 1/4hp chiller and a wort coil in the system. Pumping nutrient water through the chiller itself is about the dumbest idea anybody ever had in hydroponics btw. I guess nobody thinks about when shit goes wrong and now because you caught some...

First time dwc grower trying to correct ph problems.

There is some truth to this I wouldn’t say hydro is too much work compared to promix though. I have a ss #4 room and two ocean forest rooms too and I’ll take the rdwc any day of the week for every reason. The only thing I’ll give the advantage to is the safety other then that you are a step...

First time dwc grower trying to correct ph problems.

It’s only because it’s a standalone dwc. I set my rdwc at the start of the grow and don’t touch anything for the first 2 weeks or so. After that it’s just pumping 20 gallons into a trash can to top off every 3 days. Ive left my system alone for weeks before and came back to them being a ok...

Just saying most problems in dwc come from hot water and the ph being off if you have both of those right it’s almost impossible to fail.

You guys also realize you can take a dehumidifier and use is as a chiller as well right? There’s some wiring involved but if you’re game and aren’t scared it’s a lot better then spending $600 on a chiller that may or may not last. You just have to bypass the controls and wire in an external...

If it really is algae which I doubt it’s inside the bucket on the roots highly but assuming I’m wrong they sell black painters plastic at hd by the roll for dirt cheap just wrap your buckets in that.

You’re honestly talking about a $30 water pump, 8 bulk heads if you do it right I’m assuming it’s a 4 site @ like $2, a box of 3/4” tubing @ $25-$50, a 6 way manifold for the drip lines which is like $5 at hd, 1/4 tubing for the drip lines, 5 air stones you should already have and the rest is...

Since you’re already kind of stuck though I would do it by hand for the next couple days and go build an rdwc system on the side and transfer all those plants into it seeing how all you have to do is hold the lid up. Not like it’s gonna shock them either it’s literally the same system done smarter.

I didn’t read the responses but the problem is you are growing a bush in 3 gallons of water. Next time hook up a rez and make it an rdwc system. If you look back through my posts there was some jack off who tried to argue that this was a better method then an rdwc and this is one of the...

Absolutely green light isn’t the light I was referring to here lol. These guys are saying on this post they have light beaming in from the veg room and nothing is going wrong I find that hard to believe.

Maybe outdoors is different and it’s one of those things we don’t understand about the moon but indoor crops can not take it.
