Maybe outdoors is different and it’s one of those things we don’t understand about the moon but indoor crops can not take it.

Absolutely green light isn’t the light I was referring to here lol.

These guys are saying on this post they have light beaming in from the veg room and nothing is going wrong I find that hard to believe.

I’ve never had a light leak with any kind of led / hid light, sunlight, light bouncing through ducts, red lights on equipment, or even light slips for that matter just be ok 😂. Gtfo with that I don’t even wanna hear it idk who is spreading that lie and why.

My indoor grow used veg nutrients flushed and used filtered water I have light leak from TV screen reflecting off floor, mine are in flower and for a first ghetto set up grow I don't think the TV lights reflect is having any reaction on my 12 hours of "night" .

Welcome to the farm DB
The big flowering on is THC BOMB hybrid, medium MotherEarth Groundswell,mg, organic remedies. Seed/veg nutrients organic 24/8/14 then 1 week flush not using bloom boost or anything for flowering. I have setup in closet and at "night" I hang a small blanket light gets threw from top and bottom. Will take pic and show

It's a closet grow with no doors just a blanket and this is the light leak I get with normal lamp bottom pic and TV is top pic. Not a single hermie and again no blooming nutrients. So IMHO light leak is dependent on strain and training. But I will be putting this to the test when tent comes in.i will do a tent, closet and out in the open grow same light cycle nutrients. Just different exposure to night time light.

Literally walked into a dark flower room 3 hours ago, turned the lights on, did what I wanted to do, turned lights off, walked out. Ask me if I care. (I don't, and never will care about a 6 watt light bulb turned on for 5 minutes during bloom, because my plants never have.)

For what it's worth, last year someone babysat mine when I went away. No tent, a room. I switched them to 12 12 the day I left, first thing I did when I came home was check the girls. Opened the door and the fucking rooms light bulb had been on since day 1 when they went in there ! For 2 weeks !!!

Strangely they all initiated flower under what we'd say is 24 hour light , but obviously 12 hours was only a 60w warm white bulb .
I must say, I've never had buds unset that early from 12 12.

Strange plants, these things ...

I definitely believe that light leaks make a difference. Keeping in mind that different strains are going to respond differently. One person wrote that they’ve seen a major/medical grow operation have swinging doors between their veg room and flower room, with people going through them all day and it didn’t make a difference. I’m thinking those plants might have been autoflowering not photoperiod. The whole plant growing world says that light makes a difference, why would they make that up? It definitely stresses plants, no matter what stage. I’ve experienced this myself. My best plants grew in total, absolutely complete, darkness. Keep on growin everyone!!✌️☮️
