I think this may be caused by stem borers. I really appreciate the responses. I'm going to dissect the worst looking plant later today to confirm. I'll post pics and results subsequently.
mine are not 10 lb plants... they're more like 1-2 lb plants. its not necessarily the largest ones that are being affected either. i do appreciate the tree seal idea though! i'm going to try that tomorrow. man i just hope its not some crazy disease thats going to spread throughout the whole show...
I'm having whole limbs wilt on the plants that have this. I am terrified because it started on just like two plants now at least 10 are affected. Does anybody know what this is and how to stop it?
What style of growing are you guys using? I have tried the jacks 321 in rdwc, promix, and coco and had ok results at best. I would love to get a dry nutrient mix working for me. Is it possible for you guys to throw up a pic or two of your plants using the maxi and hydro feed?
"research and development one safety meeting at a time." that is a marvelous mission statement. thank you for taking the time and trouble to start this thread and answer so many questions. the information here and on your website is pure gold.
lol you're one of my favorites JK...always shrouded in mystery. honestly after years of experimenting i feel like my most efficient and productive results have come using smaller pumps on timers.
jk, wavegem, capulator in your opinion what is the benefit to having massive water flow? i just don't see why you would want anymore flow than what is necessary to keep the nutrient mix homogenized.
im impressed. a whole room full of elusive JK technology. your ambition is an inspiration cap, thanks for taking the time to document and share it with the masses. p.s i would kill for ceilings that high, talk about tree friendly lol
its my pleasure tweedy, i hope you rock it with the party cups if you decide to try em' they probably wont get you on the podium as far as pageantry is concerned, but they are cheap and effective.
