Thinking of moving out to Eugene.

And I stupidly forgot to say thanks to CCB for responding to my question. Thanks, dude!

There's no global access allowed. It is specifically designed to prevent this. It is being overly used by local police, not feds.

They didn't give the feds a patient list. I was the initial analyst of the state's use of the registry data. Lots and lots of irresponsible use of private information, but all by municipality or county law enforcement. NORML's involved in The Greenery? I know the four who started that...

Best service and most professional is Ashland Alternative Health in Ashland. Once you factor in the costs and runaround, it's the best.

Keep your plant counts well under 100 or expect harvesters with handcuffs. You'll get plenty of aerial attention, so plant counts will be checked. Be safe.

    Peeking into BakedReality's Garden!

Looking at these nice picture your beautiful ladies reminds me how crappy my cell phone pictures are. I gotta get a new camera! And, BR, those are really nice plants with some truly mouth-watering buds. You should be proud. OG lollipops, mmmmmm.

how close to hang lights please chime in

Genius! This is about as easy and telling as it gets. I depend more on digital thermometer because airflow in my tent is best assessed when zipped closed, which doesn't give an old fat man like me much maneuvering room on the inside!

    Hydro system for a newb!

Are you monocropping single varieties under each light? If so, you may want to look into a DIY RDWC setup. There are a couple of recent threads that show some such setups. I do DWC, but the size of your grow is too big for that approach, as that would be too labor intensive.

    Hydro system for a newb!

Darn, I so wanted to start using the 'boob diary' technique at my grow! ;-)

    Hydro system for a newb!

In order to respond in a manner other than "you should do it the way I do", you'll need to talk a little about the scale of the grow you want to have. If you're transitioning into hydro from soil and coco, what sort of potentially useful items do you currently have (pH pens, TDS meter, favorite...

    Mag ballast verses digital

There's no reason for a holy war over this issue. Not too surprisingly, they're different technologies, with different benefits. If you want greater reliability, but lower efficiency, go electromagnetic. Greater efficiency with less reliability, digital. Crappy products aren't exclusive to...

Yeah, thanks for the AquaShield info, QBMo, et al. I happened into the bad bottle I mentioned above initially and shied away. Love Botanicare's Pure Blend Pro line, Sweet, Hydroplex, CalMag+, and Clearex, which are my mainstays. Thus far, I've only topped off with pH-adjusted water, using H2O2...

QBMo, I originally 'liked' everything you put up here, but I changed my mind, because I was confused by what appeared to be contradictory advice. First, you said. I use just pH-balanced water, but I can see merits in the other. Where you lose me is toward the bottom where you say To me, this...

What kind of hydro system do you have and why?

Air Pumps - Some Random Notions Multiple small, inexpensive one-to-four-connector aquarium pumps can be used to harden your system to component failure. Standbys are inexpensive, and dual pumps and air hoses into each bucket means a single pump failure won't kill you plant. My greater risk...

    Pros....Cons.... of DWC

Okay, so RDWC Uses more water than DWC Uses more nutrients Uses more electricity Is more difficult and costly to setup Uses some specialized parts that aren't remotely available Includes water pumps (remember is gets -50 or -60 here) And it's more expensive. So, other than your...

Here's what happens when you grow a single plant in a 5-gallon DWC bucket.

    Pros....Cons.... of DWC

My experiences don't correspond to yours. I live in Alaska, not in a very populated place. Nearest grow store is a 10 hour drive in the Summer. I can only get air freight, and it's ex-pen-sive. My electricity regularly browns and multi-hour (sometimes multi-day) outages are monthly to quarterly...

    Pros....Cons.... of DWC

I concede that you believe you are correct. You realize that what I'm talking about is light-years cheaper, easier, and more robust, but hey if you've got lots of money and space and electricity so you feel swell about leaving your ladies alone for days on end, that's cool.
