Unidentified yellowing and necrosis on Hash Plant

Hey, I know this has been forever ago but I found the problem and have been dealing with it since this post. These plants were infested with root aphids (phylloxera). There may have been a little bit of magnesium deficiency since Hash Plant loves the Mg but mostly its just shitty shitty root...

    Rooting With IBA

The dip-n-grow is 10K ppm (1%) IBA and 5k PPM (0.5%) NAA but you dilute it. I use the 1 to 15 dilution which gives about 700ppm IBA and 350ppm NAA.

    Rooting With IBA

Great thread, thank you! I have a question: Does anyone know why the CLONEX gel swells the stem so much? I currently use dip and grow and a ezcloner 120 with ro water ph'd to 6.0 and have really high success rates (the key is bleaching the fucking thing every time) but I don't get that huge...

    The part where I win

That is fascinating- do you do this during flower or only during veg? Any recommendations for a continuous feeding regimen? Your plants look amazing, I don't envy you the veg on those. The single look to me like a plant that wants to flower even under 24 hour light. Reminds me of black berry...

    Separating buds from shake

I've been trying to find those cigar humidifier things that will absorb moisture or release it as necessary but I haven't been successful. On the shake the buds were basically slowly crumbling, way over dry. Thank you all for the valuable information!

    Industrial Trimmers

I looked into the hop harvesting thing and I couldn't find any information about this type of trimmer. Small hop producers do it by hand, the big guys have pto driven machines they drive through the field and "thresh" as they go. The hop cones are more durable than buds and all they are trying...

    Separating buds from shake

Its not a shaggy trim, its over drying. I've also been working on this issue and making improvements but I still had a back log of stuff that was shakey.

    Separating buds from shake

So, as an update the best solution I've found is to use a large shallow flat bottomed tub, mist the bottom with a spray bottle then pour the material into it and shake it around. The little pieces adhere to the moist surface and the large ones can be bounced away.

    Met 52 stops Root Aphids

Very interesting. I haven't observed any leaf galls but that is a classic phylloxera thing to do. I assumed they couldn't form galls on marijuana but I guess I was wrong. I need to get an inset expert to ID it.

    Compost Tea Recipe- Please Critique

I should say I'm at the beginning of the journey away from the hydro store, I'm sure the door will have a few more opportunities to hit my ass before it's done. I'm running DTW Canna coco, PK and Boost with ProTekt. Occasionally foliar with their rhyzotonic, have some cannazyme on hand but...

    Compost Tea Recipe- Please Critique

I'm thinking the caution against alfalfa in flower must be because of the nitrogen. Canna Boost has triacontanol (or so I am led to believe) and it works wonders through the end of the flowering cycle. Assuming perfect extraction of the triacontanol, the 2 ppm desired can be reached by 140grams...

    Compost Tea Recipe- Please Critique

So, I'm trying to reduce costs and improve results. I'd love to replace Canna Boost which I am currently using, as well as get better utilization from some of my additives which seem to end up getting cleaned out of my filters rather than ending up in my coco coir. Here is a compost tea...

Triacontanol- what it is, where to find it

2 ideas: First, why not put alfalfa into 87* C water with polysorbate 20? I can't remember how much those scoops from supergrow.biz held but I'm sure we could find a percentage of polysorbate for water. I can't find much data about heating polysorbate but I think they use it for candles so below...

    EMPLOY H&T for inducing SAR

Thank you for the great info. Do you have any experience or predictions about how treatment will affect plants under attack from root aphids? Will the resistance kick in and boost them or would they already be on "full alert"?

    Met 52 stops Root Aphids

I have my first observable results while using met 52: I've still got the pest (be is a true aphid or phylloxera). In my flower room I see wilting and nutrient defiency so I assume they are attacking the roots to some extent. However I have only been able to find one crawler among all the...

Root rot in low pressure aeroponics

Temps have been running 60-68, mostly hovering 64-66. I've got a real nice chiller on there, I'll lower it down to 62. These pots are exactly as per Jalisco Kid's instructions for the gm1000's, except I subbed "coco planting chips" (chunks of coco husk) for the hydroton in the chow mix. My...

    Mighty Wash?

I heard a rumor that the manufacturer submitted Mighty Wash to a testing agency to verify it's "frequency imprint" - the testing agency put the sample through a very very delicate and highly precise water testing instrument. The Mighty Wash completely fouled the equipment because of it's...

Root rot in low pressure aeroponics

I'll be cutting the cannazyme out and adding dutch master zone, we'll see if that makes a difference. C:

Root rot in low pressure aeroponics

So, experiencing root rot in my low pressure aero/coco system for the third time in a row, it's a real drag. I've tried using excel LG without success. I'm running canna coco until roots really start to pop out of net pots then switch to aquaflores. Additives are silica blast, kelp, and canna...
