Vpd (vapor Pressure Deficit) What It Means To My Plants

Me, too. I've taken to using a pan of water under a small circulation fan. It bumps the rH around 10%, which brings mine into the 45-50% range. Maybe not ideal, but a whole lot better. (I have a small grow space; about 24 sf)

    main-line topping ******best method******

Im a little late in replying, but I think you answered the wrong person. I was one who was first recommending that the new grower should get a feel for his plants. For what it's with, I'll be reducing my mother plants so they can fit into my small spaces. I spent 7 or 8 years culturing and...

    Honey Boo Boo Clone

By the way, your HBB looks like you got the results you were looking for. Question: Do you regularly train your plants so completely? I've been hesitant to mess with them too much until they're ready to go into bloom, and then its removing lost-cause branches and opening up the canopy a little...

    Honey Boo Boo Clone

I also have to apologize. Ive been away from the site for over a month, and am just getting some catchup time in tonight. There is one problem that I can think of if venting to the attic: the high moisture content of the exhaust air might make the attic prone to mold or rot, particularly if...

Why Are My Leaves Growing Three Fingers? Let Me Tell You Why

Thanks. I don't know the history of this plant. The problem there is that when I first grew this from bag seed (hence the ZIPLOCK name), it was producing 7 and 9. That was about 8 grows ago.

    A Little Tincture Experiment

Thanks! That simplifies things. But it might take a while, 24 hours of sun. Did I mention I live in Seattle?

    A Little Tincture Experiment

For what it's worth, I found that 30 drops of this batch is enough for a really good buzz for someone who is somewhat resistant. (I think it's the PTSD meds that are responsible for the resistance, as I am not a daily consumer). I don't want it more potent than that. It makes dosing easier to...

Plant Weakening Using Clones Of Clones… Of Clones

oMG. When I asked whether my 3 leaved plants could have resulted from cloning, I never imagined the battle that was to result. I'm happy it happened, tho, because it's just this kind of exchange that makes us rethink our practices, and gives us a better perspective on how to better propagate...

Had done that vein an earlier attempt. It was THC-so-so. Actually, you could get more relaxed on a square of chocolate.

    I Think I Have A Herm?

The fans going I understand, but I never heard of the value of pollinating yourself while you were in there. Different strokes, I guess. ;)

    A Little Tincture Experiment

Progress report. Effects from first tincture (honey color). 1/4 tsp with a couple oz. of Diet Coke occasional user First trial: I shouldn't have lain down before the effects kicked in- about 1-1/2 hrs. Guess I read for an hour, then got couchlock. Fell asleep Second Trial: 1/2 tsp.+ in 2...

Sea's Home For Ladies Of Ill Repute

I agree with part that puts taste and aroma over power. The smell is what I shoot for, and I'm getting better at producing that mouth-watering scent. I work hard at getting the cure just right. But the other stuff? That's way over my head. Maybe hanging with this group will get me up on plane.

    A Little Tincture Experiment

I learned that lesson a while ago. I mentioned "decarbed" sugar leaf in the Materials section, but you can't repeat it too often. Decarb first, children, or your results will not make you happy, or even amused.

    A Little Tincture Experiment

I decided to give another shot at tincture making, and it turned into an experiment of sorts. Materials: 1 qt. of chopped, decarbed sugarleaf, quart jar w/lid, 1 fifth of Everclear (190 proof) Note: There are lots of ways of doing this. I'm just sharing the results of what happened here...

Why Are My Leaves Growing Three Fingers? Let Me Tell You Why

I always try to use that point of view when I think about trying something new. I assume the plant will respond any way it can to maximize its survival, and take an educated guess what the result might be, and whether I see it as a positive or a negative. Works for me.
