Literally the base of the plant is the only part in soil the the roots are stretching into the clay pellets so I’m guessing the soil is mostly redundant?

They are still in soil from pot but placed in clay ball pots the soil only runs 4 inches in pics provided

Thanks for the reply my ph was around 6.4 I am slowly winding it down to a 5.7 I have also notices my water supply was on the stem and I will post a pic of what I found could it be to do with the problem? It is white bobbles with a bit of algae. The base of them are still in soil but are in clay...

Hello thanks for the reply I was given two plants at an advance stage I think one might have been a mother plant I have no idea of age but very mature I had them under 24/0 for 4 weeks then did 2 weeks of 18/6. I took them to 12/12 on Xmas eve I could provide pics if needed thanks again :)
