02 medical concentrator

I have been designing a mpb system and am wondering if adding additional 02 via a medical grade oxygenator to the air pumps/venturi intake would be benefical or trivial at best. Anyone try this or any other increased 02 level delivery method.

My understanding is that surface area is how air gets into the water. Think of it as air pushing its way into the water. The rough surface of your body of water caused by bubbles allows more penetration because of increased surface area. So you may want to fill the top of you reservoirs with oxygen.

Side note: high levels of oxygen can increase flammability. See Apollo 1 space mission.

I was thinking the same thing. Hydrofarm now have the oxygen generator/concentrator in the catalog like around $1k.

Be careful.. Don't want to get too much di-hydrogen oxide in your water..
