wondering how much heat do 1-2 hp chiller units produce?

it all depends on what chiller you are getting. The heat output is similar to a dehumidifier.

If that is 1 to 2 hp chiller it will put out about same amt of heat as a 1 to 2 ton a/c unit when running. But should run a lot less than an a/c. 1 HP equals about 1 ton of a/c.
