These are what I was looking for.
Although I decided to just put the emitters into the pvc and not use the 1/4" tubing at all.

LittleDabbie~ I did some research on how to make these work. these would work connecting to a screw in bushing. Just wouldn't be cost effective for my situation.

Herb- I bought some of these already. Just worried that a 2500gph pump will be too much pressure for these hold.

I don't think you have to add a bushing to use those, you can just tap the PVC and screw them in directly.

I've done it using what MGRox posted in the first link. Find the exact drill bit size that gives a snug fit while threading the fitting into the PVC...leaving the barb end for attaching your 1/4" feeder lines.
Now what I can't recall is if I used a dab of liquid teflon sealant on the threads...
