I’m growing Gorilla Glue #4 and Kush Mints. The plants are obviously on their way out. They have been in flower 10 weeks. The buds look mature (see photos). But I cannot find a single amber trichome. They’re almost all milky white. An occasional clear. Zero amber. Everyone says they go 10 weeks. Period. I’m there now. And I have the urge to harvest. I don’t want the plants to just die. But I don’t want to harvest too early. What wisdom do you have for me?

Nice job. I'd say now is fine or wait another week if you want the high heavier if you know what I mean. They would probably put on a little more weight if you wait another week or so too.

give it some more time. also, water it with lower temps
You mean colder water???

I have lowered the air temperature. I have it at 74F during the day and let it get down to 65F at night.

when you are watering her, make sure the temp of the water is low 69/70f

i think there are plants which don't get amber at full maturity, must be rare (?).

and then there are maturing plants, where many trichomes can turn amber in a couple of days...

yup, wait another week or until you've run out of patience. looks great.

Just a quick correction. I know most posters here are dudes, but I am a 66-year old woman. I thought my avatar pic would give it away.

As of Saturday, April 23rd:

GG4 leaves are dying at a rapid pace, now. And every single cola has fallen over. Look at all the yellow, and the colas lying on their sides. Colas have been foxtailing for a couple weeks.

The Kush Mints are turning purple and fan leaves are fading. Don't know if you can see it in the video.

Overwhelmingly strong smell is beginning to abate.

No new growth in a while.
