So my friend has some coco from a grow he took down just about 10 years ago. Were talking a dozen 55gal drums of it. Its been sitting in garage, uncovered for all this time. I know he only used it twice before storing it and I don't see any old roots, smells fine, looks like brand new coco to me.

Is there anything I should be concerned with? I did a slurry test, runoff is less than 100ppm and starting water around 30ppm. I don't see any signs of bugs either.

So what ya think... anything I should be concerned about. He said I can take it all for free so I'm seriously considering it for my first run in this new spot as I need a lot of coco.

Any insight is much appreciated.

It’s probably fine. Take a sample. Pop some beans. If it was cleaned and stored properly I don’t see why it wouldn’t be ok.
