The garden turned out very sweet. Are you gonna give us a clue as to what lights you are using yet?? Ive got to buy some new lights this week for a new machine and im pretty open to trying the brands that work. Im already using the mag 357, and 5-bs500s. Ive got to buy 4 more lights. So your input is appreciated.

Stealthgrow.com for my veg I used the 602 veg and Im currently running 5 of the 602s. I am happy with my results the medicine is unbeleivable and as far as count I am confident that I will be able 2 imprimove quite substantialy with time and experience.

my second grow ever
4 strains simultaneously
power outage for 36 hrs (essentials ran from generator for 36 hrs)
heat wave 100 plus degrees for more than 7 days out of the entire grow
all while running these ladies I have 2 other groups of ladies going in my perpetual grow all on different stages in the same area
veg room full of next batch, clones and maintaining 5 strains (mothers)
110 plus gals in 4 separate reservoirs changed out weekly
50+ hr job
wife 2 kids

OK so I felt the need to put all the things above just to show that these are my results and the obstacles involved and that it will only progress from here on

They are called 'challenges' :)

Why complicate your life so much? Why not keep the one or two moms, one or two tents, control your heat - 1/3 the work and hopefully 3x yield? How could you make your current setup less effort/time intensive? Can you change res every two weeks?

You ran four plants and have 5 moms...what is the 5th mom?

Can you extrapolate your yield per watt if you had run only big bang (yield/plant times total number of plants)?

You're spending your own time and money...do whatever you want. You say you used 1050w to get what can be achieved with a 400w hps - logically shouldn't motivate people to buy LED. imho YOU are not being fair to the LED. You can't say LED are awesome IF ONLY...Eliminate the 'obstacles' to a good yield - monocrop the big bang in a sog i.e. (4) 18" tall plants per square foot.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA and people said pot heads were lazy lmao. I have a similar perpetual system and I know it can get tedious, time consuming and sometimes even confusing.

Automate everything you can? Robot wife and kids maybe? lol just kidding. Aside the acts of god, your doing good bro. For the power issue i would recommend a UPS system (uninterpretable power supply). Good to hear you had a genie though, good looking out, very smart. In regards to the heat issue, well A/C's work overtime i suppose. IMO The yield per watt lack is due to distance from light of canopy and nutrients/water intake. However this can always be improved upon.

Don't worry bro, your doing good. Only way to grow is up from here. :)

your saying everything that i cant voice to anyone. thank you. I would love to make these changes and with time I will. this is all a huge learning process and the less labor extensive I can make it and better yielding I am up for any suggestions. everything is moving so quickly that the smallest changes need time.

the monocroppping idea sounds like a great plan and like i said I am up for any changes that will make things easier and more affective. I think one of my problems is that I cant let go of any of the strains that Ive grown in the short period of time and also dont have enough experience to figure out the best way to do it. at the moment I have 5 350w LEDs and 1 600w led for flower. there should be know reason that i can have excellent yields, i just dont know the most affective way to do it.

anyone with suggestions please help me out here. I can answer any questions of how I'm running stuff and what I have at my disposal. I would love to make this more efficient.

to be honest, havent had the chance to try them out, literally just got them ready to cure.
as far as the trimming my first and second harvests I took so much time to trim all nice and shit. but this time I am so crammed for time that I deffinetaly didnt give the time needed to get them looking real pretty. I also wanted to leave a little more leaf since these buds were so damn sticky, wondering if its gonna make a difference.

here are a few pics taken today of my next set of ladies that are on there way to the glass jar as there mothers and grandmothers and great grandmothers have done.

pic 1 day 69
the last 5 lsd girls that were just a little behind the other 5 girls i cut a few days back da

pic 2
my first scrog that is still a little out of control because some are clones and some were big mothers, and 2 different strains, once again I torture myself.
right sideof picture on tray are all burmese clones and 1 sweet deep gf( day33)
left side of picture in black res. 1 burmese mother, and 1 lsd mother ( day 51)

pic 3
some sweet deep grapefruit week 6

pic 4 day 51 kushage

pic 5,6,7
all lsd mother that is in scrog day 51

Hope its not that confusing its my good and crazy perpetual lol soon I will lock the times down and scrog and really show the potential of leds.
from the looks of it at this point, I should yeild about 4 to 6 zips off of each of my 2 mother plants that are in flower. and even though the kushage looks a lot smaller I should get 3 to 4 zips from her.
at some point I will run a nice 3x4 dwc tray with all clones from one of my strains mothers and scrog it and really get a system going.
I am so involved in experimenting and took such a crash course that I havent been able to perfect one system and really show the full potential. fact is I have pulled 2plus zips from a single plant from 4 different strains. so experience would tell me clone 1 strain and scrog it nice and youll get your numbers. right? ramble ramble i guess just wanted to let followers see where my head is at. basically giving a forwarning that once I get my shit together then I will really show that leds are on that extreme indoor level. enjoy ppl
