1000 watt, too much?

hey guy's i am new around here and and am working on my cabinet. It is only about 8 sq. ft. will the 1000 watter be just way overkill?

I already have an aircooled 1000, so I really don't want to get a new one unless i have to..

yeah i think I got the heat under control. 125 watts per sq ft. I hope I get some rock solid buds. Got a pack of swerves sfv OG bx2 and I can't wait to pop them sexy beans. Gonna run em in moonshine mix and 3 gal pots for final transplant. have had great success with this mix before it's so simple.
