I tried to get my mechanical timers to be exactly the same but they are 15 minutes apart. I know this because I have a camera in the grow room. Will this extra 15 minutes of light screw up my flower cycle? ps i have 4 led lights on 2 mechanical timers.

I've never gambled like that.. always figured better to have less then take a chance..when I switch over I go right to 11/13..

I agree, better to go have slightly more darkness then light during flower. I was having issues with my mechanical timer and got a Nicrew 7 day digital one from Amazon for like $10.00 which is super easy to program and works great (so far anyway), may be worth looking into.

Thanks I reduced both timers by 15 minutes. So there is no more than 12 hours of light.

12 hours & 15 minutes & 11 hours & 45 minutes works just fine, hell 13 on & 11 off works just fine, don't listen to anyone who says otherwise... Heck I have one that I can go 13.5 on 10.5 off & it's just like I am running it at 12/12... 15 minutes over or under 12 hours causes NO issues ever! I have been doing this for over 20 years & precise timing your lights for 12 / 12 exactly is in no way critical

I don't think 12:15 / 11:45 would be a problem as long as its consistent though your cycle. Flipping time cycles through flowering could cause it to hermie. I just finished an 11/13 cycle and I'm not overly impressed with the results so far. This crop the lower buds just don't seem as tight & hard (now that they're dried) as they seemed to be while growing. I'm not going to blame the 11/13 cycle 100% for this ( yet) but with brand new bulb I was expecting better. I'm going back to 12/12 to see if they tighten up and then I'll know for sure.

lmao everyone saying "Hermies!" is hopefully kidding. That extra 15 minutes in all reality will make no difference. Just don't go changing the lighting cycles around mid flowering. Some plants can take way less than 12/12 and still flower. The light cycle changes throughout the regular season outdoors, it's not always 12/12

If your flowers are ripening "too fast" near the end, you can change the lights from 12/12 to 11/13. but yeah. you're fine.

Get an extension cord power bar and plug that into the timer amd then both your lights into the bar problem of untimes liugts gone.

15 mins at beginning or ending no big deal, may be problem if frequent occurrence in middle & maybe not even then, they all have strain specific issues & each plant is also different. I've had clones from same time & from same mom behave very differently to same stresses
