12 plants outdoor but only 10oz?

I'm a bit confused as I'm allowed to grow up to 12 plants in my state( Massachusetts) but am only allowed 10oz at home. So I'm confused, if a cop comes and sees my 12 legal plants but clearly knows it will be over 10oz when harvested ...can I get busted or am I legal?

Almost all states with homegrow are like this.

The simple answer is yes, you are illegal.

The super simple answer is don’t let the cops on your property to weigh.

Honestly cops have more important shit to worry about than if you are above an arbitrary threshold in your state, as long as you are not selling, or blatantly rubbing their noses in it.

You only remove and process what you need and don’t harvest the entire plant at the same time to make sure you’re under the legal limit would be my response when speaking to my lawyer after exercising my 5th Amendment Rights to police questioning. Not giving legal advice but it’s proven case law in more than one jurisdiction.

The medical weed laws read much the same way here in Draconian Okiehoma. Everybody with a medical card ignores them. No rec here so if you don't have a medical card your screwed.

Here in VA. we have a 4 plant limit. There is a 1 Oz. limit but from what I understand that only applies when out in public ( in your vehicle or something like that) as long as your harvest is stashed in your house you should be good. But again that's how I understand the laws in Virginia, may be different in Massachusetts. Always best to keep it on the down low. Good Luck

you can just tell the laws are written by uninformed people. in ct you can have six plants in veg, six in flower. you could grow 10 pounds with those six plants or have those six plants grow six grams of weed haha it just straight up doesnt make sense. so i say fuck them laws with a stick

Exactly what I was thinking. At the end of the day most folks can grow a couple plants outside even where it's illegal without any issues unless they are an asshole and on the cops' radar, or if they have asshole neighbors. I grow outdoors and I'm not supposed to because of a city ordinance, but neighbors aren't going to call the cops. Shit, half the time I smell other neighbors' plants in the hood.

that looks like one household can have 12 plants but one person can have 1 ounce.meaning if 15 people live in your house you all together can have 12 plants and each one of you can have 1 ounce.
