150-200watt hps sunsystem enough?

im thinking of switching my closet clf grow to a single hps lamp in a vented plug in play system. something like this...



would something like this work for around 4-5 plants in a closet? maybe with some clfs in the mix too

indeed it would but a 250 is thr minimum i would use for 5 plants

The most important issue with high watts in small spaces is heat control. You need to be able to exaust the hot air then cool air will migrate in to replace it. I usually cut (with hole saw) a 6" hole in the ceiling for a inline fan. To fix use a stick-on perforated metal sheetrock patch and spackle over then lightly sand. Use a thermometer, stay below 80f.
