Space: 5x2x6 closet.
Lights: 180w 6th gen LED's + 420w cfl 4x105 (2-5000, 2-2700)
Genetics: 1 sour alien, 1 hazey og, 2 100 dollar og to start sog.
Soil: FFOF 10% perlite.
Nutes: Bloom to be determined

I have the clones under 2 90w of led vegging now.

the closet is situated like this.

(2 leds) (2 cfl 2700) (2 cfl 5000)

Plants enter on right, start under the 5k cfls, then move to left under both 2700 and 5k cfls, then right again under 2 led's + 2-2700 cfls for final flowering.

total is about 35,000 lumens or 3,500 per square foot, which should be quite ample and at the moment, I have no need for coolling.. (Im sure this will change when i get all 420 watts of cfls lit. (currently just vegging under 180w of leds)

Plant layout

(Sour alien) (Hazey OG)

($100 OG) ($100 OG)

the $100 OG clones are reallllllly new clones, less than 7 days will need some vegging.

Nice little LED setup you got goin there bro!

So you're going to just flower those four clones right there? I'd take one as a mother and flower the other three.

I'd line the ground with plastic too and maybe get a small fan for circulation.

Check my grow, it's really similar to your's.

Oh yeah.. the work on the closet is just starting hehe. I have already lined the ground with 3 layers of trash bags taped down with duct tape and the plants are now sitting on a plastic thing to retain any liquid. the inside of the doors will be painted flat white too.

I still have to mount the cfls and cut some vent holes to the area above the closet for odor control and heat removal. Though I think I will only need 100 or so cfm or less. Even with all the LEDs blazing, It doesnt raise the temp 1 degree, its crazy.. im use to hps and mh lol.

What I plan on doing with the clones is take 2 clones off each plant before I flower them, so I would have to veg them long enough for that. The area you see is the flower room, I am also setting up a 4x3 closet for a veg room, but that comes a little later I think.

Ill look through your grow now, and btw im female lol

48 hours into veg the plants are starting to relax and fill out.

The sour alien is just off the charts fast, crazy fast. Like 2 nodes a day complete with fan leaves.

The hazey og is a notoriously slow growing plant and its taking its time. No surprise there. it seems to be taking longer to root than the other strains.

The $100 Og is split, one is starting to take off the other slow though it is smaller, alittle root damaged I think.

The closet is mostly together, I am still waiting for a 4 inch hole drill bit to finish up the odor and heat controls.

Wassup man. I ran just 90w last time around on a run I did in DWC, just some bag seeds, not genetics, and I finished with a 4' plant that only yielded about 12g dry weight. I really hope doubling the wattage turns out for ya. LED is great in veg, but in flower I just didn't get the swelling I was looking for.

yeah for sure.. Im actually doing 2x90w + 4x105 CFL. about 600 total watts. Its a minimum of 35,000 lumens and 3500 lumens per square foot. On paper looks good, but we will see.

What Generation was your light, or band? tri, quad, 5, 6, etc.

Ive seen the problem your describing on older dual/tri bands with only 630nm red.

I really want to clone the sour alien, it really is an awesome and vigorous plant. Ive never done any cloning with gels and whatnot. I was taught the plain water method, any tips for using powder, or gel, or liquid, etc. Brands matter?

Added 2 alien dawg clones to the chamber for a total of 6. They are bigger than the $100 og clones.
