Those seem to be going for it with the flowers, didn't stretch too much. Strait to putting on buds. Got some nice genetics on deck too.
I know I was surprised by that. I defoliated kinda heavy in the middle of the stretch though so I’m sure that was it. They do seem to stack up pretty fast. Talk about genetics... your moon dawg was making me drool lol

Happy New Year everyone! Here’s some pics to start off the day. I realize I messed up in the previous post... those were day 12 pics. Here’s last night at day 14.

Yea, I've noticed a heavy defoliation will stunt upward growth. I'm starting to use the technique to even out canopy instead. Just pinching the top leaves on the highest branches to get more even canopy. The MD will throw some killer frost and nugs that are a breeze to trim. Our plants are basically first cousins. Chem Dawg daddy. haha

Oh yeah, forgot to update. As of yesterday I’m feeding 3 times/day now. Every 8 hours seems to keep the coco evenly saturated right now. I’ve got the drain to waste part down but what’s the point if I’m not fully utilizing coco’s properties. I read some posts of @EventHorizan and @Wisher619 that you treat it much more like hydro than I originally believed. I knew it was hard to over water rooted plants but I didn’t know how easy it was to underwater them. The effects were subtle in my case but it was part of the cascade that was causing my deficiencies. Oh well, knowing this now will save me veg time next run lol.
lol wow crazy.. Im just reading a thread, and there I am lol.. I must of missed the tag in here,,, Sorry bro

Nice, I’ll give that a try next round. I’m thinking these buds will be easy to trim too.. they’re already solid. Yeah I was gunna say, they’ve got a similar leaf structure. I love those super long stems!

Seems like whatever the GSC got pollinated with must have been a stout indica. They're also in 1 gals too right, could be why they are staying so squat?? Love seeing all the different specimens from similar lines.

Yeah 1 gals. That could be it but who knows for sure. I’m definitely gunna run it a few more times to eliminate as many variables as possible. Try to tighten up my environment and pay attention to it’s specific nutrient demands. Me too man, it reminds me how much there is to learn.. it’s awesome.

The two taller plants got transplanted like 2 weeks after the others and I just decided not to train them so I could flip the lights on schedule. They have the greenest stems of them all. I’m gunna try less training next time and let them gain some height before flipping. Since this cut is so branchy I’m sure filling canopy space won’t be a problem. Here they are at day 18.

Finally got my new veg tent up last night! I had to sacrifice some height for some width but it’s worth it. I’m gunna switch to smart pot beds anyways so I’ll be good. Eventually I’ll go with a row of cobs in here.

Here they are at the start of week 4. Just an update on my nutrient schedule, I’ve been running maxibloom at 3 ml/gal, epsom salt at 1 ml/gal, and silica at 3 ml/gal. It’s been like this for a couple weeks. Now I’ll be adding some Hula Bloom at 1 ml/gal until week 7. I’ve come to realize though, they’re not actually that picky with nutrients. Most of my problems have been environment related.

Things have been drumming along nicely. I'm a burnt ass though. I never know when exactly day one of flowering starts so from now on I'll just refer to day 1 of flower as the first day of 12/12. Sorry for any confusion.. So yeah today is day 48 of flower. I checked the trichomes last night and they were about 50% cloudy. So far the smell is like a mix of mint, pine, and gas. I'm gunna chop em down when I see like 5% amber. I'll put up some more pics later.

Here they are from last night. Got about 3 weeks left. I can’t wait to start the sfv og kush. I’m gunna optimize my setup once these finish up. I have a 3x3 low tide tray and gunna build a lower profile table on wheels.. and then put my reservoir and waste bucket outside of the tent so i can move things around and prune easier. I’m also gunna build either a 9 or 16 site watering system but use 1/2” tubing throughout. I would like to experiment with some new lights in the future but I’m gunna rock this 1k until I’m pulling 2 pounds a light. If I can’t do that I feel like I don’t deserve to blow cash on some new cobs lol

How long did you veg this time around? If you want to rock 2 peazy's you've got to get more height and width. Try to get at least 2' of depth for the grow. From the bottom bud to the top cola should be a solid 2' of mass and that will get you to pound town. :smoking:

I only vegged them for like 3 weeks if that. Next round I’ll do less training and let them stretch. I’ll aim for that 2 feet of canopy. My new table will sit like 6” lower so that will help.
