I just wanted to post a few pictures of my non topped white widow plants and a mystery plant half way through the 3rd week of flowering. I did cut some of the fan leaves off due to I only have 1 led main light and 3 little pot lights. Just wanted to see what everyone thinks. I am alittle rusty on growing and am willing to take any suggestions. I have always topped my plants in the past. So this is my first ever non topped grow. The stretch was tremulous. They literally almost triple in size. All 3 white widow plants are over 4t after the stretch and the mystery gained maybe 4-7 inchs.

If anyone wants to see them with their fan leaves I do have pictures of them at the end of the 2nd week. Just ask me and I will post them

Hello there and your off to a good start better than most new growers. I was looking for a fan? A slow blowing fan helps like the wind outside make branches stronger to hold up the stems. But other wise for what you got your doing OK. Do you think you'll update the lighting in the future? As you can see those are really long node spaces a stronger light would of helped prevent that. But i'm not gonna say what you did was wrong it's just a low budget grow that WE all started out with and gradually updated the lighting and enviornment. Man you got a good space to work with and update that grow. 👍✌️

They do look healthy. So bravo on the nutes you're giving them. At this point you kinda just have to let them play out. To each their own but next time I would definitely top them. Will help them bush out more and keep them shorter and increase the yield. Also increase the airflow which can be done now to avoid any type of excess moisture when the flowers get denser. And hopefully an upgraded light next time around. But yeah 👏 👏. Just stay consistent and keep us updated.

Thank you very much. Like i said this is my first grow in 13 years or so.Yes I have always topped, back 13 years ago when I had my grows. This time I wanted to see the difference between the two. And man oh man, I definitely can see the difference. The stretch in preflower was almost 2ft. Which is much more then I have seen with topped plants. I also wanna see the difference in quality. For I have heard from many of experienced growers that non topped plants will not yield as much as topped plants, but will be more potent. So I guess you can call this my little experiment. And I do take down the light blockers in the windows and I do open up the windows for fresh air flow for them. But I will increase the air flow with a light powered fan to help circulation. And yes, Once i am able to get more money(which i am disabled due to a car crash and from getting hurt from a work injury.) I do plan on either getting a more natural light source, or getting 2 or 3 more of these led lights to hang with the one I already have. For a more intense light for the last 4 weeks of flowering. And thank you on the nutrient compliment. I use the same recipe i used 13 years ago. I feel like the kit i have always bought has a great ratio for each cycle of growth. Me.and my ild buddies who use to grow together use to call it our "secert recipe for sucess" hahahahaha. Thank you for your comment. =) it's much appreciated. I would love to see any picture of your grow if you are currently growing. =)

Thank you. And yes I have been using a low powered fan and I do take the wondow blockers I made out of the windows and open the windows with the fan so it helps circulate the fresh air. Thank you for the compliments =) and yes I do plan on getting stronger more natural lights when I am able to afford them
I am currently disable due to a car crash 6 years ago and a recent work injury that has permanent nerve damage in my left leg. So money is pretty tight. But if I have too I may buy 2 or 3 more of these led lights for a more intense lighting for them. But this light has done far better then my expectations of them hahaha. And all of those long branches all happened during the stretch. But they do all have the white hairs at the bottom of them. So we will just let them continue on what they are doing and see how they come out. These are my first non topped plants so I am sure stoked to see the difference. Thank you for your compliments and suggestions. It is much appreciated and I will do the best I can to try your suggestions. =)

I grow outdoor and topped mine and they still got over 7 feet tall. LOL. If I hadn't they would have probably been over 12 feet. These are a couple of the ones I have. One's in my greenhouse in a 20 gallom container. The other is in the ground. Strain is Bruce Banner. About a week out from harvest.

Next round I'd try lst instead, you'll get heaps more tops, a Level canopy, better light distribution etc.

They are beautiful. I have had a buddy who did his first grow outdoors last year. I helped him with topping his plants because he wasn't sure. They came out great out door. He had blue dreams. They all were high yield plants just like your. My next plants I am going to top them as well. I am shooting for them to look similar to your beautiful plants. You have really done well with them. Bruce banner is a great strain. Congrats to a beautiful grow =)

Thanks. I have the luxury of living in Grow Zone 10. So most of my success comes from them growing in this climate. But much appreciated. High yielding, low yielding, don't matter to me. I love plants and looking at people's setups. Always getting new creative ideas from it. Look forward to seeing your progress.

Me too. I feel the same exact way as well. My friends never understood why i loved growing so much even if they were low yield. They tell me it's a waste of my time. I said nope. Regardless if it's a high yield or a low yield, I love tending to them and talking to them and watching them change throughout its life. And I look forward to seeing your final product as well =) plz keep me posted. I did post a new thread if you wanna take a look =)
