Late Update
Yes Bear... read so many posts of fungus in outdoor grows and wanted not to be a casually... it ain't over to it's over... or some thing fat... sings...
So just been following my weekly spaying of BT thuricide with soap... and added a new one a spray KHCO3 with soap... added benefit of P and Calcium.. raises pH to 8... deterent to fungus growth.
Try to spray underneath as much as possible.. remarkably so little insects found on the girls... while the rest of the garden has had serious attacks... (will be posting in my critters thread).. but the girls have been getting most of my time/ attention lately.. most likely the reason for so little insects found on them.
After which I gently blow them dry
In preparation for the harvest and general health... have started to trim away fan leaves.. starting with any that are yellowing or defect looking.
As it gets closer to harvest I will be doing a live trim before cutting them down and washing.
Getting rid of most of the fan leaves... a day or hours before harvest.
The girls (buds) are hard on top softer a foot down ... This is this third or 4 generation of clone, and at this point when they start putting on Amber, it comes in heavy and fast … ( wow.. rings a bell, heard that before, while ago... hmm ) I really don’t want more than 15% Amber
I started cleaning up the wash equipment... going to use a kitchen trashcan for final rinse. There a pretty good chance I’ll be cutting her down in the rain or shortly their after.
So my process will be:
Cut all main branches to a length 2 to 3 feet... basically cut them in half cause right now they’re about 5 to 6… Do the clean thing hang them up outside on the clothesline... wait for a break in the rain and blow them off gently with a leaf blower.. when they’re not dripping anymore, I’ll take them to the room with the dehumidifier... set it at 60% humidity… It’s heavy duty… I estimate it will pull all surface wetness off in four to five hours, maybe less.
I welcome anybody to critique my initial plan and suggest a substitute … Thanks to all for the advice
