Well, shit. The cuttings I took a week and a half ago from the "feminized" skunks could very well be male, or some at least. 😒

I was lazy and didn't label them 1-5, and now I prolly have some male clones rooting. 😆 Oh well. Definitely going to be popping more beans soon!

Eenie meenie miney moe...

GG4 Autoflower update:

I really need to rig up a tripod for this thing... So frustrating. But, another week or two and this abomination of a plant will be ready for its big harvest of 15g 😆 FML

The other GG4 auto is languishing in a stretchy-larfy state and doesn't seem to want to progress any more. I h8 autos

Hey now 15g of homegrown is worth more than a pound of the dispo crap 👍 looking good!

Bean in dirt! 🎉

While potting up a couple of peace lily cuttings today, I had enough soil for another small pot and figured I'd sow an Amnesia Haze feminized from RQS.

  • 6-ish quart plastic nursery pot
  • 50/50-ish mix of FFHF and OF
  • Rapid Rooter plug placed right in the soil
  • Seed in the rooting plug.
  • Wait 😐

I'm so happy to be working with dirt again!

Another day of gardening... Give me sun, coffee, and soil!

All my clones have rooted, although I'm unsure how many of them are males. 😬 I took clones from plants that were supposed to be feminized, but alas 2 of the 5 skunks were males. Soooo...

I potted them all up in small pots, will veg for a couple weeks so they can get their claws into the HF/OF mix, and then right to 12/12 to see who's who. I also potted up 3 skunk cuttings that got chopped when trimming about 10 days ago. I just stuck those three in water on the window sill and today they went in the soil with barely any roots. What the fuck, I had two pots of soil left over! One in one pot, and two plants together in another. Kinky. Two girls and a pot! 🫦

The stupid GG4 autos went into the 5x5 flowering chamber, and I got the 2x4 set up for the clones and the one Amnesia Haze bean that should be popping within the next day or two. 🤞🏻

Far right are two Nigerian Poisons, the rest are Spain Skunks. Not pictured is the Amnesia Haze waiting to 🌱

Amnesia Haze bean is waking up!

This is by far the easiest germination method I've ever used, ever!

I add soil to the pot, water it through, make a hole for the rooting plug and place it into the soil, put bean in the hole, and water the top a little bit more so the plug is saturated. Then, I just wait. As the first 48 hours goes by the plug loses some of the excess moisture to the soil around it, and it becomes the perfect medium for seed germination. No misting, no fuss, and no stress.

I'm at 100% germination rate so far since using this method!
