Just purchased a couple of the UnderCurrent evo 9s 13 gallon bucket systems. Couldnt be happier seeing everyone elses threads on here. came over from icmag. Just started putting them together this morning. Only took a couple hours, real simple... Still need to put the walls up and hang the lights.

Each system will have 4k above on a flip flop all air cooled reflectors. 12,000btw portable ac unit, dehumidifier, no co2 this round.

Nutes will be house and garden aqua flakes A&B, Root Excel, Multi Zen, Bud XL, Top Booster, Shooting powerder and Mother Of All Bloom.

1/4hp per should be fine.

If you can swing a direct water feed on a float vs barrels, you will save yourself a lot of work. They will drink 10g /day easy.

The system holds 130 Gallons but i heard to fill it to the bottom of the net pots, which is about 90 gallons? if I do res change once a week Im thinking ill be good? not sure new to this system, ran ebb and grow last round and wont ever do that again. only needed 50 gallons a week per system.

You will find you don't need to change the res as often. ~2-3 weeks or so.

My little system (85g) goes through 20-25g every 3 days.

what about if your nute change calls for a different about every week? Do you drain and then refill, add new nutes?or wait till it gets low then add that weeks nutes?

Only my second grow ever, still learning. Tryed ebb and grow first go around and pulled 3.5lbs per room, hopin to get atleast 5lbs per this go. Idk if that's out of my range for 4k overhead?

Pics tomorrow when I go finish up. Cuts this weekend.

Just top up w/ water & nutes, keeping with the nute schedule. 2-3 weeks, then change out when the plants tell you.

Rooms look good. My new Evo shows up tomorrow.

What's on your walls? Doesn't look like mylar, more like thermal blankets.

Have you fired up all the lights for a few hours and checked temps? A/C keep up? Are your chillers in the closets of the rooms? They are going to get warm. Any way to move them out of the rooms? Or maybe run chillers in the 'opposite room' flip flop style.

Thanks, it was all they had at the grow store at the time, some new mylar. its thicker though.

Yea I fired them up the first day, temps stayed under 78, it was cold in the house that day so water temps were down as well. Never ran chillers before, only my second grow ever, didnt use one last time and barely survived... i heard to keep them out of the grow room so thats the best i could do... Also first time trying to take cuts too.

thanks, went and checked on them today. clones look good still but no roots, only been 3 days though. Also took yalls advice and fliped the chillers, it was a little farther i shouldnt need a bigger pump should i?

Also thinking about what i should do as of support? i have tomato cages but thinking about putting a screen in or fencing? which is better?

first grow was 2.5 gallon ebb and grow buckets and pulled 5lbs under 6k which was horrible, saw what everyone was pulling with the uc systems, had to switch after the first run, added chillers and an extra 1k in each room.

I ordered PVC furniture fittings to build a sturdy screen.

1.25" PVC Side Out 3 way elbows and other fittings.

Lots of different cloner recipes, most important ingredient is patience.

Some pop roots in 6 days, some 10, some 14. It depends on the strain a lot.

After only 9 days im amazed as how big they are getting and how big the stalks are getting, I emplanted them once the roots were already hitting water when i put them in the system. They exploded after that.

Still new to this system and strain so well see how it goes, ill keep posting pics if everyone can help out, any comments are appreciated. Ive read everyones threads and i know alot of people on here have alot of knowledge.
