I don’t wanna let it get too cold and hurt the plants, but I also want it to be cool enough to turn cool colors.

I ordered some black runtz and black orchid, I think (depending on how these do) I want to do those and some grape ape in the hope of growing black weed.
Hell, yes! Black weed matters!!! Go for it!

It’s kinda cool to see how fast they react. Reorient them self in a few hours.

Let me know if I’m doing anything risky 🤣
About the greenhouse. I found the temp. fluctuations to be a problem in the early Spring. Hubby added a couple of fans at the top and a thermostat to turn them on and suck out the hot air when it gets too high. Kind of, sort of works.

I've never had an auto hermie, but with stresses like wide temp swings it might. Just a thought.

Okay noted, let’s see how it goes lol

Not to be dismissive, just not sure how much money I want to invest in the greenhouse yet. I was considering cutting the plastic and adding solar exhaust fans but have yet to do it. I appreciate your input

Yes !! I don’t see my plants everyday so it’s been always an adventure to get there anxious to see the result..

what I realized is that plants I made lst had longer vegging time than others I didn’t use.
Does the stress have influence on that? I don’t know, will be tested!
I don’t believe only genetic would make such difference

interesting, I thought that the auto flowers had a set time. Wonder how these turn out

Okay it’s cold. Gonna leave the green house closed up and see how much heat it retains. I have some reflective insulation I can use to make a little reflective box maybe? we will see.

Everyone is looking fanfuckingtastic. Bent the blueberry big devil down some more. Everyone’s stems are getting thick so good timing. I’m excited about the results!

I do find myself in here each morning pulling them down a little more. should probably leave them alone.

They look great! So cute. And yes, they have a set time frame for veg and flower. Usually a month veg and 2 months flower, but each plant does it own thing. Outdoors I try to let them go as long as possible, usually until I see signs of mold.

The cooler temps might slow them down a bit. And maybe the soil microbes too. It's all so interconnected.

part of me is annoyed I didn’t color code the pipe cleaners 💀

I’ve never used microbes before? assumed more was better. I have had a couple shrooms pop up though maybe I should stop.

Yes, it does.
This is the reason I am wondering if the LST is the responsible for this huge difference in plants size.. next grow I will do lst in all of them

okay it cooled down. I think as long as it’s open and the fan is going green house should be okay.

seems like the hellish temps got the blueberry big devil to join the party.

everyone looks surprising good given they’re babies and it was so hot. Half these are zamnesia f1’s. Curious to see how they compare.
That humidity is going to kill you long term.

And it’ll only get worse in winter!

Hey just a thought here🤪 sober… half a cup of coffee down (be gentle)

Could you partition a grow area in the green house to smaller size to fit just the plants? You could make kind of a lung room and use that heat during the day and if you have a smaller room with the plants in it wouldn’t be so bad to heat with that heater you were talking about having/getting when lights are out. (Smaller space to heat)

Just food for thought to get the wheels turning! : ) sometimes reading folks’ ideas spark my own!

Also I know you said you not wanting to spend a lot on the green house but heating that bad boy might be one of the best pcs of equipment you could invest in. Either way im here for the journey! Hope you’re able to get it figured out. Enjoy the process ❤️✌️

It might come down to that. I’m hoping if I leave it sealed the heat will store long enough, but if it doesn’t I will probably set up a corner. At least wrap something around the racks I have the lights on
