I've tried starting autos in July and the seeds just don't like it. They tend to rot pretty easy.
IMHO the natural world prefers Spring type temps. for seeds, so I keep'em at around 70-75 and have alot better germination.
Glad to see some of yours popping out of the ground.

seems like the hellish temps got the blueberry big devil to join the party.

everyone looks surprising good given they’re babies and it was so hot. Half these are zamnesia f1’s. Curious to see how they compare.

Little tuesday update!

8/12 have broken ground. Lemon wonder is the last to join the party. Lemon wonder and the green crack still have their helmet stuck on. Hoping it will pop off on its own.

Apparently had things WAY to wet cuz I got a whole mushroom farm going. Oh well. humidity cups off today, will probably water tonight or tomorrow with great white just so they don’t get weird.

8 plants, hoping for 8 ounces gotta reach out to zamnesia about the others

Plants are responding very well, I am testing the light with plastic, next trial will be out, directly to sun.

Im going to get laughed out of the room for this one but im dead serious. Have you thought about a wood stove in the green house for the over nights. I feel like where you are located youll get great winter day time temps in the the green house. But with my experience that heat goes away withing minutes after the sun goes down.

Or a gas barbecue. If you are using a light, how are you going to keep it from attracting a multitude of insects? Just another wrench in the works!

Haven’t put up the light yet, been lazy lmao.

Maybe. It’s fly season right now. Once it gets hot they fill every inch of shade they can find.

Anywho, back to bugs, could probably trap a couple of black widows in there. Found two giant ones cleaning before setting up for this winter.

Reached out to zamnesia customer service. got a little light shaming (I told them all seeds were processed the same. They said the most common issue is overwatering but if they were overwatered I wouldn’t have had 8 pop? Anyways)

Getting four seeds of my choice. Asked for either northern lights or trainwreck.

I got on the mail yesterday some black runts, black domina, grape ape, wedding cake, and whatever mystery seeds. Will probably start another round of autos in a week or two.

Zamnesia is giving me two trainwreck and two northern lights, which is really fucking cool. I wish they were on here so I could give them publicity lol.

Okay, I did some poking around in the pots that haven’t sprouted. The apple fritter I think I I found just barely showing green, but didn’t dig it out.

I think the jack I pulled out all the way I put it back and just kinda forgot about it

I did water everyone with great white today, hoping it will give them the extra kick.

Plants that have come along look happy, Strawberry cough/pineapple express seem in the lead. Blueberry big devil looks more like a baby devil. Green crack had a helmet I pulled off so it looks a little fucked up but it’s alive.
