Yeah he's definitely not pinching pennies for seeds like I am obviously LOL. Something to strive for. I'm working on my first auto, ever, right now. I had one that they sent me by accident in my photos that flowered pretty early, in comparison to the photos, but it was pretty much okay. It looks like it's flowering already at like 5 in tall. It can't be 4 weeks old. I think some autos are just like that. That other one I told you about was in the exact same setup, I didn't even know it was an auto, and it was fine. I think some of those autos just have sketchy genetics possibly. I don't know enough yet for that to be definitive but I suspect. I don't have any good pictures in this device but this was my gorilla glue Auto from Royal Queen seeds I believe. It was the one that was supposed to be photo and just started flowering out of nowhere LOL. It's doing wonderfully though now. Can't wait to harvest it. Still haven't had my first harvest yet! The suspense is killing me.

I’ve had a couple runts and a couple successes, might be the genetics but most of my problems, growing or otherwise, are self caused

In the name of science! I’ve had all these plants outside for two, three days? Since the grow already got kinda compromised, let’s see what some stress does to them in flower.

I expected the flowering ones to look better and the babies to look worse but got the opposite, the flowers look like shit

they only have a couple more weeks of life anyways, and it got cold enough to freeze aphids last night so success!

So a while ago I started ripping up the lawn to compost. It was ugly and dead and at the time we didn’t think we were leaving so we had big plans for the yard.

Anyways I didn’t know about any chemicals used on the lawn so I kinda kept it isolated to a few beds. Mixed it with manure and compost and just kind of left it there.

This shit is FULL OF WORMS it is so ready to go. So I took three wagon fulls and mixed it with my weed soil I have cooking just to keep it exciting. The rest will probably get moved to garden beds at the new house.

I’m also getting things staged for the next round of autos I’m gonna kill. Wanna start the first week of february so I can finish before we move move.

I have some more of the reflective insulation on my table top just to help maintain temps and to bounce the light around a bit more. Lights are a decent range, maybe close for seedlings but the lights aren’t very strong so I’m not too worried. I have the fan mounted to the rack, and a heater arranged under the table. Trying to take steps to make sure it doesn’t get wet, hence the layer of insulation. fingers crossed.

I made sure the timers and temperature controls can all kick on and off without tripping a fuse now it’s just a matter of letting the soil cook and waiting.

I think if I can keep the environment in line I will have pretty good results. Here’s to hoping.

today I pimped out some worms.

so I have a lot compost piles. Today I combined the contents of a tumbler I tried to build with another food scraps bin I’ve been filling.

I also did a wheel barrow of my worm dirt at the bottom, middle, and top. Hoping the worms will kinda mingle between layers and break it all down real nice like.

first of gotta shout out this blue cheese f1 autoflower from @Zamnesia, broke the fucking thing in half and every other branch flowered with everything it had

Also, I left them outside for like, 3-4 nights? And they didn’t really like it. But you know what? No bugs.

working at the new place this weekend. Building the base support for the new greenhouse.

We had a cement curb type thing that needed to be pulled out. Trying to repurpose it as the base. I dug this trench and got a shit ton of sand.

I compacted the ground with my feet and a piece of cement lmao then I just need to to level the pieces and square it to the house

I think Scott’s turf builder makes one that has a grub killer in it! You shouldn’t have any trouble finding something to poison them! Is that PVC pipe that is in the picture still in service?

I think Scott’s turf builder makes one that has a grub killer in it! You shouldn’t have any trouble finding something to poison them! Is that PVC pipe that is in the picture still in service?

for now yeah, it’s getting pulled. or capped. we don’t need it lol after I learn to level the base for the greenhouse we are taking a whack at artificial lawn. got quoted 2500 when we already have half the materials

oh yeah! one of them I want to do as another water spigot. the entire backyard has one that’s on the other side of the yard. clearly wasn’t built for such a large scale farming situation
