Do you have room to start a seed and have a seedling somewhere until your tent is empty?This is a great idea. I would be very interested in getting in on this. I’m just finishing up my last run within the next week or so. So I’ll have a nice clean tent to start this challenge. Keep me posted. Thanks.
Yea I’m in. Just ordered some 1ga fabric pots. Is there a list of rules I can look through. Any media, nutrient or self watering restrictions? Everyone is starting and flipping at the same time? Can I have other plants in the tent? And last but not least any seeds/genetics? I think that’s all lolDo you have room to start a seed and have a seedling somewhere until your tent is empty?
We are starting the contest and seed germination on August 5th so if you want in, nows the time to make room and say so
Haven’t made the formal list yet, but to your specific questions, 1 gal pot (EU measurements allowed so up to 4.5L buckets, mines about 3L) really it’s whatever type of medium you’d like as long as it’s not DWC/Hydro, you can sue soil peat coco hell rockwool if you want but we’d prefer it to be hand watered, no drippers, but am allowing SIP style grows, I believe a few are planning to do that, to that leaves any watering challenges up to the grower with thir medium choice,Yea I’m in. My plan single topping and push as hard as she can handle, I run pure peat and self amend so I plan to amend normally then add in teas and try to promote light distance and utilize drybacks and up potting for best growth this isn’t a waiting game type of grow it’s a hit the ground running typeSo with a 1 gallon pot do you go taller or wider? photos preferred but autos allowed and will have a seperate category for any judging, genetics are growers choice

Veg time I believe 4 weeks will finalize soon
Flip date all at same time at end of allotted veg time
All predetermined all must follow the timeline, you can up pot, so start as small as you want and wait your way up to your gallon pot or plant right in it if you want growers choice
You can have other plants in the tent, there will be a full plant photo required (for integrity purposes lol) posted to the submission topic twice a week (I’ll set dates for each person so not everyone posts the same day) plus 2 photos of growers choice

Here’s my game plan
I’m ready for whatever though lol
Medium will be promix BX-M (peat and perlite and I’ll add extra perlite)
The current test plant following this method day 7 in flower
And since speed is key I’ll be using the @SpiderFarmerLED heat mats to speed up germ time and keep it going through early veg
i plan to use my normal pot as i know ill have 70" of headspace to use in my flower tent, i know a few have talked about cutting down something like a 3 gallon hard pot so itll only hold 4.5L of soil max so they can utilize wider root zone and less reduction to their headspace, id imagine its space dependentNice game plan.
