I got kicked out of my freshman year English class for reading my own books when our teacher wanted us to read the books on her book cart. I was reading the Art of War, and she got angry and took my book away. Yeah rather than soaking seeds in water before planting, I like to perform my own version of "scarification" on the seeds by taking a brand new razor blade and ever so carefully make a split at the top of each seed. Just deep enough to penetrate the shell and no more. Shhh... Don't tell anyone my tricksGonna be tossing my beans in the dirt today.

Yeah I don't like domes, either. They just seem to harbor and encourage fusarium growth. Waste of time and money imho... And I live in extremely dry climate, still never need a dome for clones or anything.I've never used a humidity dome. Mine went in the soil yesterday.
