Not quite but we’re close! I’m thinking probably about august 10th so not this weekend but the following Saturday, for drop date, I’ll have to go through and try to make sure each person who wants to join is aware of the drop date, then I can set the rest of the dates
Could we do a 3 day drop date, like the earliest you can drop is the 8th and the latest the 10th?
If I could start soaking on the 8th, I know I would have a tap root and be able to plant on either the 9th or 10th which would be my half day at work and my full day off. Easier to get things together and plant when I don't work a full shift lol.
I just figure everyone's seeds are not going to sprout or even be planted at the same time anyways but if you think it would throw timing off for everything, I'll just have to fill my pot ahead of time and wake up a little early to plant it. Not really a big deal lol.

I'm going to probably tie some branches down tomorrow but other then topping once and using Silica in my water, haven't done anything else but let it grow.
Cotyledons are dying off so it will be time for nutes soon.

Do you ph your water after adding silica? It’s kind of insane how much silica raises the ph if water but I’m not actually sure if there’s enough “total alkalinity” from the silica solution to actually put any real pressure on the buffers in the soil.

Are you using potassium silicate?

I like the idea that you just have to be finished by New Years.
I’d like that but who knows of someone chooses a landrace sativa it might be in for the long haul, id imagine most will choose normal 60-70 day flowering strains (those using autos it’ll be kinda a wildcard, most likely autos and photos will be voted on separately)

I’m gonna win. Couldn’t wait. I already started 🤣🤣🤣 ✌️
Day 5 of flower I think? 🤣

Yes that’s the pot I think I’ll be using, but I think there only about 3 liters lol but we’ll see I’ve been mulling around picking up a 1 gallon air pot to try as I was considering using 15 gallon airpots for my normal grow, these 12 gallon bags I’m using aren’t bad but I prefer very aerated hard pots

Could someone clarify about the drop date? I'm assuming from what I've read is that there will be a germination start date and the drop date is post sprouting? I'm dealing with old seed so I'm not confident that I could hit the drop date. That is if I'm understanding all of this correctly. I might need to start my soak by 8/1 in order to be ready by 8/10. That's if it will sprout at all.

I've never measured or adjusted ph in my life, I just run my tap water through a Zero Water filter/pitcher.
I use Fox Farm soils, 2 parts Ocean Forest to 1 part Happy Frog. I used the same soil and water source even before I started using Silica in my grows, I see no negative effects or a need to change anything in my grows since adding the Silica.
I've always been curious what my ph is but plants never gave me a reason to check it. Maybe I should just buy a meter, it would at least cure my curiosity.

Have you tried any of the living soil fabric pots. They’re tan with a 2/3 inner liner made of plastic. They don’t dry out as quickly as a regular fabric pot, but still promote air pruning of the roots. I have a couple seven gallons running current and a fifteen gallon one that I’ve used once.

I run two 15 gallon grass roots pots with the liner. Seems to work really well.
