The other two autos started showing signs of preflower today. Glad they were able veg longer and get a little bigger first, with the forecast being sunny and low 70's the next few weeks, the preflower stretch should be pretty nice. Also got some peppers and strawberries going a few weeks back and currently sowing seeds for other stuff.
Damn your strawberries are kicking mines ass. My daughter picked out a plant at lowe’s a while ago and it’s not taken off yet.

Love the plant variety though. I got some potatoes going, one volunteer beet 😂 various vine crops and what not. Last night I planted a mixed tray of sunflowers corn and tomatoes. And some caladium bulbs I forgot I had that hopefully aren’t fried 🤣

We had a rabbit and hog farm growing up. 200 head of rabbits and 100 head of hogs. The red worms that I would dig up in the rabbit poo, mind you these weren't niggtcrawlers, were almost alien looking and triple the size of Canadian nightcrawlers. They looked like good sized snakes! To this day have never found worms that size again. This wasn't on fertile ground either, a rocky hillside in southern WV
I’ve found a shit ton of worms! Red pink white. All sorts of sizes but nothing that big. I’ll keep feeding them hahaha

That and black soldier flies love it. We gather the fly larvae to feed to the chickens.

Haven’t grown since 1980. Was given 10 seeds. 7 germinated March 20th or so. Lost three when their container was dropped. No clue about their genetics or type. But why not. Outside now hardening off will transplant in a couple days after some heavy weather passes along. Kind of look small and spindly to me for 6 weeks but we’ll see.
One thing I noticed yesterday and again today. The bottom left, darker green, gave off a rather skunk like odoriferous scent. I took them out for an extended play date with the one and off again sun before the storms today and noticed it even stronger. These were a gift, with unknow history.

So that gives me a clue.

Interesting tale being raised in the Chicago region in the 70's our choices were Gold, Red, Brick, and shit. I never heard of skunk until I joined the US military and was stationed out west. Then it hit me... Anyway looks like I have a skunk.

Yeah I have more peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, beans, peas, pumpkin, watermelon, onion and some other stuff in the works right now.

Not really but some.

Thanks. I should probably prune them soon. Pick those little flower buds off and keep promoting growth. Get em started right before the heat kicks in and they start going nuts.
Ours have been in for a bit now. I did just get some Coolapeno Peppers and need to transplant. Our peas and corn are doing well too. Lots of beneficial watering from mother nature so far.

This UBC Chemo/ Romulan has never been topped but is growing low and bushy. I have removed 4-6 leaves from the top of the plant which were shading branches. The leaves are long and thin which usually means a stretchy plant but this plant doesn't look like it will be tall. It will be interesting to watch develop.

I have a second UBC Chemo/ Romulan growing, a Nepal from Real Seed which is still small, and 2 other plants which just started.

Top at the 5th node before the 6th. That's what I always read💚 and I top before I transplant.
And that's what I've been reading too. But I've also read to not over stress them and since I have no clue what these are, auto or otherwise and it seemed to take forever to get them to this point I don't want to go backwards. We grow a shit ton of veggies, peppers, tomato, beans, peas, you name it and I am not half as nervous with even our prized Cherokee Purps as I am with these. LOL Thanks for the reply.

Greetings from So-Cal. Hope everyone's good. Got a new raised bed setup going this year. Just added some 2 year old compost and layered some soil over the top. Stocked up on some amendments and will fill the rest of it up in the first days of April. Until then I'm just chillin, enjoying the rain. Picked the strains I want to grow this year and will probably get those in the next couple of weeks. Until then it's just the waiting game. 🌿🌿🌱🌱
Can u elaborate on the mix ur using ..I'm using straight ff soil...

I used some of the FF soil. But the rest is that cheap $3 a bag all purpose replacement soil and I amend it myself with bat guano, worm castings, blood and bone meal, and Pearlite. I'll amend them again probably in the 2nd week of July in preparation for the flowering season. But that's pretty much it.
