You’re doing better but you could give us more sun. I know it’s raining but I’m still needing water. You didn’t move that leaf far enough so stem number three could get more sun. Yes I’m pretty and green but I could be greener if you paid more attention to me.

Just a Friday afternoon with these Criticals.

Hey @Galgrows those pictures totally remind me of looking through an old album photo......are you sure you aren't using the '80's filter? 😂
sheeeet no🤪 i took them early while it was overcast i think i was facing the sun LOL It's a pretty old motorola LOL gawwd how i hate to upgrade my phone or computer. I'm gonna keep my windows 10 comp. but i'm getting threats from microsoft about them not supporting it anymore?

Ican tell u this California Orange I've got has been flawless thru this year. I've only had two leaves turn yellow the whole season, so far. And bugs don't like it.
It's dealt with hot and cold and high humidity.

If I was into it, I'd have clones of it going. Dried and smoked a small bud I pulled off thinking it was a leaf. Wow..... tasty it was, for as early it was from maturity.
I’m hearing a lot about Triangle varieties

Environment Canada has issued the year’s first frost warning for the fall, expected Friday night.
“Temperatures are expected to drop to near the freezing mark overnight into early Saturday morning,” the agency says.
“In urban areas, temperatures may remain a few degrees warmer which may limit the potential for frost. Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas. Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.”
Saturday’s forecast sees the temperature hovering around 1 C under clear skies.

I have to add that the forecast only calls for 41f feels like 37. They're pushing it to put out an advisory with the temps where they are. More to come tomorrow.

Question for the more knowledgeable.

At what point during bud development do u remove the larger fan leaves, if at all.

I ask, only because my one plant ( California Orange ) is still so green and full of leaves and buds. My understanding is at some point u should defoliate the plant some.....just not sure when, or if I even need to, for an outdoor plant.

I don't like cutting off good greens, so is this step actually necessary.?!

I only removed leaves that cover other bud sites an old dead shit and some middle little crap yours are looking great 🫶🏻🪴

I would say it mostly depends on your environment. Around here it’s been very humid and plants are basically dripping every morning so I will be out today to do some thinning out on the inner parts of the plants. If you’re in a dry environment probably not necessary at all.

More to come-
