Thanks. My house faces South, so the backyard gets sun from 6am to 8pm during the hot months. Actually planning on putting a 30% shade cloth over the ladies in the planters this year. See if it makes a difference.

I’m similar here with my situation. This last 95-99 degree days we’ve had, it definitely weeded out the weak! I need one too. About a 10x10 would be perfect. Is the 30% the way to go?

I have one over my tomatoes and corn and it seems to be doing just fine. Plus I've hear other people using the 30% all the time so I guess we'll find out.

I'm kinda just alternating between 6 different strains. Hadn't smoked any GG4 in about a month so back to it for a couple of days, then probably won't smoke it again for another month. Lol

Early Morning Walk-through:
Instead of growing her long and lanky, I've been doing some LST to keep this Qrazy Train Autoflower short and bushy. Seems to be cooperating so far. Almost 4 weeks old and still no signs of flower.

Update, everything is growing. Just gave them a shower with kelp and hydrolysate. Supposed to rain all day tomorrow, all good! In the ground, growing like plants do.

So, you irrigate, how do you manage the water? Timer, sensor, what about when it rains?

When I get to my shop in the am, give them a little drink. My drip line has closely spaced emitters, gets a good watering in 1/2 hr to 45 minutes. In the dog days I give them drinks on and off all day, especially cukes. I’m having the hardest time with green beans, something ate my Mexican marigolds too.

Imagine you are a little bird. Get in that bird bath and jump off that rock. Robins love taking baths in there. I put it kinda under the potatoes, give them some cover from hawks. Trying to keep the cycle going!

The hardest part of growing? The culling process. How do you do it when they are ALL healthy?
