You think the girls are far enough into flower to be ruined? Maybe it happened early enough for minimal impact! I guess we will see!Except I quit drinking! I made him hash out of his crop last year, this year ain’t looking good.

Oh man. I top the shit out of them. I believe I got 4 or 5 toppings in? And I LST with bamboo stakes and twine, tie them down. I’m medically legal up in the PNW, but my neighbors and I aren’t exactly friends… so with that in mind, I keep them low and out of sight for the most part.I’ve watched your grow a few times now, looks great & you hedge like I do but I have a some ?
Are you working the canopy a lot to maintain it or is this a strain that mostly stays even?
Judging by the background guessing you’re here in the west somewhere, so when will those finish?
I have some that were well behaved this year nice even growth and then have the teenage group who are going up to see who is the tallest, then there’s the irregular growth between 2 of the same strain.
At this point the most manageable for me have been
Humboldt seed co - Orange Creampop / Twenty20 - HoneyFace & Apples & Afghani / Dirty Birds Necromancer Kush.
All the rest in my main grow are going skyward & I am gonna be on the ladder again![]()
Keep in mind that nowhere on those products is the word cannabis or claims that it is safe to smoke! Strange chemical reactions occur when you heat, active and inert ingredients to 400+ degrees! You can eat all of it you want! And I know! After two months of dousing them a quick, three bucket wash will make everything hunky-dory!If it's only caterpillars then BT spray is your best bet. It can be sprayed up to harvest because it's not a poison it's a parasite that only affects catties. So it's safe for people, pets, and beneficial insects. Still a good idea to wash your buds at harvest though to get rid of the residue and bug poop. Good Luck![]()

Oh yea! I’ve found all sorts of little critters in them. Fortunately, it’s little wasps, ladybugs and praying mantis for the most part, but seen some tiny swallows (I think) dipping in and out. Best form of pest control is Mother Nature.Shade structures are always expedient temporary measures. Jankiness is human perception. Function is the goal. I like how you have breathing space around your plants. I bet birds find shelter inside your grow.
Have the ability to introduce a praying mantis? You can usually buy them at pet stores and shit, and they’re FANTASTIC to have crawling around your garden.Update constantly pulling budworms small catapillers off the plant just started flowering want to spray but dont want to ruin the taste and smell any pointers

Bug poop is a problem rn to how would you recommend washing some plants are over 6ft dark shower one at a time or power wash outsideIf it's only caterpillars then BT spray is your best bet.
