That’s a creek that goes back, big bay in front. I was there looking to see if peanut bunker were still around. Baby menhaden, there were lots of schools. You spot them because they jump out of the water once in awhile, great bait, catch them with a cast net. The ocean is just past the houses in the far side of the picture. I would catch bait and go to Shinnecock inlet, goes out to the ocean. Fluke, striped bass and blue fish. Fishing was good!

There’s where I was. Shinnecock golf course up top

YUM! 🥰 Freak show (to me) seeing the white at night. 💚 Giggling
I have a question @GNick55 why don't you clear out the undergrowth? I've seen different areas/states growers do it & wondered why not. Will you do it later?
In my area, 3 yrs of growing, I've never had much over/under growth. I'v strived to get big leaves lol
I get bushy buds sites on the inside tho
Enjoy all your content🌿✌️
i don’t clear out anything because i don’t believe it and it’s never shown to prove anything,. it’s too much stress and weakens the plants immune system,.
most that do still get mildews molds etc,. and than it attacks the buds quicker because the plant can’t fight it regardless if it would win or not,.
if/when you do get issues at least i’ve got all my leaves etc to help fight as long as i don’t fuck it up with spraying something,.
but to the ones that think pruning trimming etc is helping,
that’s absolutely nonsense,..

Hey y'all, hope everyone is having a fantastic season.

Checking in from NW CT. Had a ton of rain this year and the leaf spot septoria went nuts (get a little of it every year in this climate, but generally not a problem). Most plants (Durban poison, Blueberry Kush, Alien Hash, Mimosa Brunch and Lemon Haze) held their own and are looking decent enough. No sign at all of bud rot so far on any of them, but I ran a Frisian Dew that got absolutely smoked by the leaf spot. I assumed that because of it's supposed prowess in fending off bud rot, that septoria would not affect it too much. Totally wrong there. The buds have formed pretty well, they are putting on weight, the trichs are clouding up and the smell on this one is super pungent old school gas... but looks to me like it needs another 3-4 weeks. Thing is there is not a fan leaf left and the leaf spot is encroaching on the buds. I see three options -- burn pile, or chop it now for hash/early harvest or let it ride. Any thoughts? Thanks all and happy weekend!

I’d let it ride, but that’s just me. I don’t care for early weed. But I understand.

Google, do humans get sick from eating cannabis that was suffering from leaf Septoria? And, do humans get sick from smoking cannabis that was suffering from leaf Septoria? Then draw your own conclusions! That’s what you get paid the big bucks for! To make these career, defining decisions!😂🍻✌️ if the Tricom heads are still stone clear there’s not much point in harvesting! But if they’re getting cloudy, maybe so! Good luck with it!👍 those plants look pretty gnarly! Lol!

Thanks ES, that’s how I’m leaning too

🤣yeah Chucky they are insanely gnarly, embarrassingly so! That’s what I get for leaving them unattended for a month this season and not creating enough of a mulch barrier!
