We’ve had 75 inches of rain since May 1 and our fourth tropical storm/hurricane is about to hit so extreme conditions but I’m just curious I’ve exclusively used ocean Forest soil and I’m wondering if anybody else using ocean Forest has Septoria. I really like the soil, but I’m paying $28 for 1.5 L bag of it and if it’s giving me Septoria, I might rethink that. I don’t wanna blame the soil, but I’m just curious..

With those conditions, I doubt it’s the potting soil…I use it too,

I agree with defective! Been using it and reusing it for years without any problems! Got everything to do with the Climate! That’s a pretty healthy 11 or 12 buck per bag mark up to get it over there though!🫪😁

Yes, I should be equally suspicious of the fertilizers that I use as well. I do like the ocean forest quite a bit. I’ve seen my plants look much better with it.

Humboldt Seeds Blueberry Muffin scrog final days.

With my next crop, I’m thinking about just putting a thick layer of crushed lava at the top. It might leach phosphorous some…
I accumulated about 300 gallons of ocean forest five years ago and have re-amended ever since! It holds up well to that! And bonemeal will probably do better than lava rock! Just two cents! Lol!
