My kids started growing hydroponically a few years ago. One grew hot peppers they couldn't source locally and the other grew veggies and herbs for his roommate, a chef. Neither use weed so I do believe it's just a fun hobby for lots of folks.Roxanne....you don't have to put out the purple light!
A cousin of mine lives in a sprawling metropolis on the 25th floor of a condo high rise and has actually counted 57 purple lights in the two other high rise condos they can see. I think growing at home, not just weed, it's more than a fad.
We actually started indoor growing barley grass fodder for the animals to have fresh greens over winter. My kids started growing hydroponically a few years ago. Hoss, hope all is well brother! What strains did you go with this year? Did you save any White Buff for this year?Little early for me, yet. Still have 8-10" of snow on the ground. And a month before I pop beans.
But so far I'm looking forward to Skunk#1 and Capt's, Cali blue, from seed. Frostett, and C99 from clones. Thanks to Crazyforms.
Not sure how the C99 will hold up, my understanding is it has a low mold tolerance when grown outdoors, so maybe it'll go in a pot, then I can move it inside the garage
when needed.
Hmm...living soil outdoor grow.
Gonna need a bit more attention being in a container, I suppose.
Plan to order some seed from Amnesia as well, so there will be a couple more beans getting popped.
Just can't decide what. Runtz, Afghani, Hindu kush, Lemon power haze, NL, or Kalini Asia.
Wished I had the room for all, I'd still be legal, but don't want to be stuck in trim hell for 4 months.![]()

Still have some to smoke on thru this year.Hoss, hope all is well brother! What strains did you go with this year? Did you save any White Buff for this year?
Wait, is that all? Let me help you with that.my new outdoor crop will be 2 cap junky x (cap junkyx chem91) and 2 Ice cream cake x (cap junky91) courtesy of another seed junky
What size pot is that? Are you keeping him?Still have some to smoke on thru this year.
But Im growing Afghani, chemdawg X Hash plant ( from regs ) I've got a male of that going too.. Um.. Kalini Asia, Runtz, Northern lights, and Lemon power haze.
Everything is fem seed from Zamnesia, except the CDHP. Those came from Corey827. I popped 5 of his beans, had three girls and two boys. Killed the one male, gifted the two females.
He's a good looking boy

For outdoors? I will slowly acclimate them for about 7days from in to outdoors several hrs a day. Is your area for sunrise/sunset times more than 14hrs? Im in Oregon i'm at about 15hrs now and mine are in 15gal pots full time. They were about 1month old when i transplanted to the large pots outside. When do I transplant
I think the roots have filled the cups pretty much! They pretty much mirror the canopy! In my opinion, you’re good to go! I think it’s easier to transplant when you let the roots fill the cups! Less likely to damage the plant! Good luck with it!When do I transplant
