I'm in Ohio. Using 5 gal black fabric and 7 gal beige fabric. It's been so windy here the top part of the soil dries very quickly and is always bone dry. I keep checking it and weighing that against whatever my moisture meter says to determine need.
If I were to grow in pots up here in Ohio...15+ gal is how I'd roll. Too much fluctuating in moisture and temps in small containers IMO. Stable puts buds on the table.😉

This is what is happening in the male room. Got this small number of hair! What the backwards herm is going on?

Go with the largest pot you can. As @Oldchucky says about bags, size matters!

Going to be a hot few days coming up. I let the sprinkler go for two hours. This ground is thirsty. Tons of earth worms and mushrooms. I still believe this ground is a bit hot. Seems like a lot of nitrogen content.

Excellent 👍
Young plants might have a hard time with it for a few weeks after planting, but they'll love ya for it later.

I know they have induced female flowers on males, just like they can males on females but this is cool to see it happen naturally.

I do have wonder though is if this wasn't a female genetically and just happed to show male signs first from stress. I wish that damn test was cheaper and more immediate for backyard growers although it has gotten cheaper. https://farmerfreeman.com/product/ez-xy-single-test/

It doesn't have to be dry for leaf hoppers.

Found this one on my neighbors plant today while it was raining.

It's a Chemdog hash plant that'd I gave him. He chopped most of the plant and buried it deeper. 😱. It had been already topped and left with 4 sets of branches to train, with LST. And he can't figure out why mine is 4x bigger than his.😆
