Colorado, 8000 feetAll of us in the north country don't ask for much, and when we get it, it's a celebration. LOL
I use a butane torch on them instant deathI have not grown orange creampop before either until now. I have had Asian beetles and inchworms. Sprayed a good dose of neem oil two days ago. No more inchworms, just a few beetles. Some pics of my orange creampop for comparison…

Don’t you have one outside of the greenhouse? Is it flowering? Hope I’ve got the right person! Lol.Looks like everybody's grows are going great this year. Hope that continues as we get geared up for flowering season. My Cretan landraces have jumped the gun a little and are definitely in full flower already. They got their flowering top dress last week and everything else got it today. Now the real fun begins. Noticed a few caterpillars so I'll be spraying bt tomorrow. Yeah, land races can be a little persnickety! I guess it could be stress! I think it could also be the difference in the light between the unfiltered outdoors and the filtered greenhouse! Maybe that is what we are witnessing! But in any event, they look good! As long as they stay in flower! Knock it out of the park!Yes you have the right person and no it's not flowering yet. The only difference being it's in the ground and hasn't been topped. I'm thinking the multiple toppings to keep them short enough for the greenhouse stressed them. Don't know, these landraces are weird, my Napali Highland in the ground hasn't shown a single preflower yet. Nearly 6' tall.View attachment 2687121View attachment 2687122
I don't know. The greenhouse does block some sun. I believe last time I measured it was around 1800 ppfd outside and 1550 in the greenhouse. But the duration of light and dark are the same so it shouldn't make much difference. I don't know but it's fun to watch.Yeah, land races can be a little persnickety! I guess it could be stress! I do think pop culture and corporate slop are one in the same these days. However, the 80s were quite rich with culture. That's why right now so many people are returning to the 80s and everything it had to offer. I think the 90s is when subversion really amped up and rapid cultural decline followed. One does not need to look any further than what corporatism did to destroy rock music. The 80s were the exact opposite of that.I think of pop culture as a corporate reselling of what interests the childrenof corporation executives. They then repackage it for mass media. It's Astroturf, a synthetic covering that has little relationship with the soil it covers. It looks bright and shiny! Before 1980s, folks had more art, house plants and books, much less media.
Third pic is a small dense bud, apple fritter?
I'm surprised they haven't shown sex yet. This is a wierd year for weather. Middle of July used to be hot and dry. Not this year. I'm still cutting lawn and rarely have to water plants. No hint of gender yet but I suspect it will show soon.
